I'm amazed at how many of those satellite net trackers you encounter. Those have to be super pricey. I'm sure losing one is no fun for the fisherman.

Question? What is the round object above the round green bottle 0:18? I have seen them in other vids. I am a land lubber!!!
Its a satellite beacon for tracking nets and other floating fishing gear. It sends a GPS location signal to a satellite, and the satellite sends a location back to the fisherman. There is a great TH-cam video of a guy taking one apart.

There fishing tracker buoys some have fish finder build in.

No such thing as a pristine beach up Cape York these days.But bloody fabulous to get to the remote parts. Just mind out for the crocodiles !!
Yes there are plenty of crocs to keep your eye on and not just in the water
