Your dutch oven lid handle has the right shape of Birmingham Stove. They usually have made in USA on bottom. If it's really smooth inside, it is likely to be Birmingham Stove. Not as valuable as Griswold, but it's still a high quality pan, collectible, & worth a good amount.
Got a good look at inside when you set it back in. Very smooth inside, that is the sign of a high quality old pan. If you have a pan that is newer at home, feel the bottom inside. It will have flat, small bumps all across the bottom inside. If you feel the inside bottom of an old high quality pan, it will be totally smooth...no bumps. Manufacturers stopped using the milling process that created the smooth inside bottoms. It is one reason why the old pans are awesome for coking. If they are well seasoned, it's better than modern non-stick pans.
