I really like this car seat but i’m having a hard time deciding if I should get this one for my new born due to not being able to take it out and put it on a stroller. Would you recommend this one or just to get a travel system then get the pria later on?
My "mom" opinion is to go infant car seat first, being able to use a travel system with a young babe is SO helpful. IF you are considering a second infant seat base for a partner or secondary caregiver vehicle, this is where I would actually suggest to just get the Pria instead of a second base. That way you're ticking all the boxes!
The booster mode can be used from a minimum 40lbs to 100lbs or 43"-52" tall. Forward-facing harnessed mode can accommodate a child to 65lbs or 49" - so there is some overlap there between modes. In booster mode, neither the top tether or the lower latch belt is used. For booster mode, you only use the vehicle lap & shoulder belt to secure the child. The booster seat acts as a lifting agent to position the child so the vehicle belts are properly positioned on the child’s body. In periods where the child is not sitting in the booster seat, the booster should still be belted in with the vehicle belts to prevent it from being a potential projectile.
I was given this car seat by a friend who hardly used hers, but she doesn’t have the infant inserts anymore. My baby is over 18 lbs and is 28 inches tall - does she need the infant inserts or is she ok to use without? I couldn’t find a clear cut answer in the manual.
Hello! We would suggest reaching out to MC directly to see if they would be able to arrange shipping + selling you those inserts. You would need to check your manual for the height and weight requirements to use the seat without them. Hope that is helpful. -Team SB

Do we undo the lach anchors when it's in booster seat mode or do we leave the anchors attached?
You can leave the anchors attached -- they only provide stability and making sure your car seat does not become a projectile :)
I had the same question because the manual said to NOT use the LATCH system in booster mode?
What weight should they go up to booster? I see up to 100lbs for booster but don’t see what’s the minimum weight for booster.
