Your honesty is so refreshing. It's ok to not feel like you've got your shit together all the time and to worry, it's because you care so much. My idea of motherhood and the reality was two very different things and looking back my youngest is 6 and eldest is 10 im glad the reality was different as I've learnt so much good and bad and it's moulded me into a better person, I've more understanding, more empathy, more patience, resilience, more kinda to myself. Good luck with the pregancy and hope your doing ok mentally and physically xxxx

I feel like I could have made this video myself. I am now about to have my second child in Nov. I'm very excited, but also so scared. I really struggled with the two's, and really never wanted to go through it again. My daughter is now 3 1/2 . I overthink things, and worry about the future way too much. My mom always tells me, it's because I worry that makes me a good mom. I feel the same about you, worrying just means you are doing your job right. You are such a good mom. Can't wait to watch your upcoming Vlogs!
2 & 3 have been so difficult for us, felt like a never ending dark tunnel, which is why I was so adamant I didn’t want anymore, in the grand scheme of things, it’s such a short amount of time! Good luck with baby 2 💗💗 xxx

The scariest thought is to have another 1 but each child is different and the next one will be different, I'm 35 and am pregnant with our 3rd and I thought I was done at 2, but am glad I didn't think too long otherwise I would have regretted it. I'm so pleased as you are the ones on TH-cam that don't put Rose tinted glasses on everything, so thankyou😘
My other half is an only child and he loves the fact that our little girl is an only child and will probably stay that way as he doesn’t want anymore, I would love more

For me the second time was WAY easier (not baby wise as second was more clingy ) but you just know that everything Is temporary and everything will pass. I cant explain how the love grows with two but it really does. I now have a 5 and 2 year old and could not be more happy x

Being a parent is the hardest job but having watched you for a long time now I know this is the right decision for you and your family...You're a brilliant mummy and you can and will be able to do it and in time you will realise you have made the right decision. I have a 11 year old a 10 year old and a nearly 3 year old. I was 19 when I had my 1st and 21 with my 2nd. The best thing I done was have them so close in age, seeing them growing up together, doing everything together and having each other no matter what has been amazing and I've never regretted having them close. Yes was hard but seeing them now and seeing how close they are has been so worth it. X
Took almost 3 years to get pregnant with my 2nd and my 2 girls are 5 years apart. I was so worried about the age gap but I can now say I wouldn't change a thing my 2 girls are 8 and 3 and are little bffs. Having 2 will be amazing and p will be a fantastic big sister x

What an inspiration! Not many people would be as true and honest as you have been with your parenting journey! As a mother of 2 myself with a 4 year age gap I also questioned it alot but I wouldn't change anything for the world and once you have the routine you will be so surprised with yourself. Can't wait to see your journey on getting ready to become a mother of 2 but all you have to do is look at that amazing little girl you have already and know that you are the best mom they could ask for struggles or no struggles xxxxxx
I felt the exact same I promise. When we started ttc I actually hoped it would take longer than it did so I could have a bit more time. I actually sobbed when I got the positive test because I was so scared. I spoke to my midwife about how i was feeling and she reassured me it was very common. It took me about 3 or 4 months to be content with expecting again and once baby was born, I honestly looked back and wondered what I was so scared about. X

I’ve just had my second baby girl, she’s 6 weeks old.. my oldest is 3.5. I was sooo scared because I knew what to expect. But honestly I have found it so much easier than I thought, I really worked it up in my head! But honestly you will love being a mum to two children. I love it. Congratulations again 💕 xxx

I can kind of relate to you in the sense of overthinking, but I had to force myself to stop and to let go and just ride the flow lol. It makes things easier. Remember not all nannies are the same, my daughter was HARD work, and I got pregnant and had my son exactly the same age gap as yours. He was a piece of cake, completely different lol. Wow... You upset in the clip saying you'd made a decision not to have anymore children... Is me right now, I'm so glad I'm not the only woman feeling like that, I literally have that same thing of one minute I'm saying I should have another one and then the next I'm saying I just can't do it. Most women I know say they'd have another child in a heart beat and I envy that. I know deep down, I would love another child and for my 2 year old son to have a younger brother or sister. But I'm just lost to weather I actually can. My son had such bad reflux, was under a pediatrician, still has a dairy allergy and hardly slept. And now he is going through the terrible twos. I'm so over the moon for you and this gives me hope. Congratulations to you all. You really are a realist and an inspiration hun xx

I have a daughter the same age as P and a 9 month old. I had my second child for the EXACT same reasons as you. To say I have struggled being a mum is an understatement but I’m glad I made the decision to have a second so I know that my child will never be alone. Yes you’re an over thinker but so am I and there is nothing wrong with that. Excited to see your new journey ❤️
I really struggled being do young at 19 with my first but we grew up together . I then fell pregnant at 24 with my second and it was the best decision I made it was like doing it all again felt like being a mum for the first time, you feel prepared and confident and I have enjoyed every second he has just started reception and I’m me again🙂 Congratulations lovely 😊 xxx

You will be amazed how it just clicks when you're new addition arrives Jess. It will be like he/she has always been there. The difference between any baby that comes along after your 1st is that they just fit in,what I mean by that is,you don't go with their routine (like your 1st) they go with yours. I'm a Mum of 6 and it just works,like you I'm a "planner" (Christmas is almost in the bag,even wrapped😂) so I can relate to you in that sense but you will do great..... I live my life with lists and I love it. Congratulations again and enjoy your pregnancy,I always missed my bump even though I had my baby (I sound nuts when I say that out loud) 😂 xx

There are struggles with 1 baby and struggles with 2 babies, kids are difficult! I used to plan and overthink everything but I've had 3 unplanned pregnancies and now shit just happens the way it happens. If dinner isn't at 5 then oh well it will be ready when it's ready where as if I only had 1 and dinner wasn't at 5 I would be freaking thinking I'm failing at life and my child will become a failure 😂 some shits not worth the stress or over think. The fact you care shows your a good mum x you got this 👌

@@JVCxo you'll probably notice Phoebe grows up alot and she will help you as much as she can so keeps her busy and out of trouble and makes it easier for you. This is everything. I have a toddler right now and we are in a place where we are really happy but our little boy has special needs and we will never have things like grandchildren from him and all we worry about it who’s going to look after him when we go. So we are trying for another baby. But I’m terrified x
Am in the exact same situation as you. My little boy turns 2 next month and i have been struggling. I come from a small family 2 I am an only child my part at has a brother so I am on the fence weather to have another baby or not x
I felt like this with my second pregnancy too and my anxiety was all over the place always making a bigger picture and other thinking but once he was with me all them thoughts went.. I think it’s just natural as you know what to expect this time around xx

It's such a hard one I have one full sibling & 2 half sister's and we are not close at all. I don't have anything to do with my mum & dad for different reasons. I do feel alone but I am happy as I don't have the stress anymore.
I had a second baby purely for my daughter she was 4 at the time and begged me for a brother or sister, I was more than happy as I was with 1, I can honestly say 3 kids down best thing we have ever done, love them all equally which was always a worry for me, it will change your family forever for the better I promise xx

For me personally I found having my second child a lot easier, simply because I sort of knew what to expect and I didn’t take things to seriously. I was less nervous about the silly things and so far she’s growing into a really chilled out little girl, all though we are approaching the terrible two’s so that will all probably change 😬😂

Exactly what I kept thinking before we tried! Well I always knew I wanted another but the reasons why I did want another was the same as you, didn’t want my first to be lonely etc wanted him to always have a friend. My first was 16 months when we decided to try and the next month I was pregnant. Then when I was pregnant I desperately wanted another boy and overthought that too... happily for me (of course a girl would of been nice too but just being honest) I got the second boy I wanted. I found having the second so easy, the newborn stage was so easy, I missed my free time when my first was in bed at night etc as baby was still awake but didn’t bother me as much as I thought. Now my second is 14 months and I thought now would be when it would become easy, and I find it so hard! I’m mentally exhausted and drained but I wouldn’t change it for the world. And when one of them is driving me crazy the other one is almost guaranteed to put a smile on my face. You will do fab, it’s so worth it. So pleased you are pregnant and I’m so excited to watch your journey! P will be a fab sister and your heart will be bigger than you ever thought possible x

Super excited for you 🤞🏼💜 I also am a massive planner & I knew when my first turned 1 we would try and it took me 3/4 months & I fell pregnant the exact same month I did first time round so had 2 June babies 2 weeks apart in birthdays ( ideally I didn’t want that but now I wouldn’t change it for the world ) I have 2 beautiful daughter & being so close in age plus same season means using all the old clothes again and it works with the seasons so I love it x x x
I'm glad you have spoken about the struggles I totally feel how I feel. My eldest was 4.5 yrs when I had my second before that I was terrified to go through it all again I honestly thought also I would only have one as I was traumatised from giving birth etc and toddler behaviour. When my second was born it was easier than first time, I hope it is for you too and good luck with the pregnancy. My son is also 4 in November 😊❤ xx

Sounds like me I've got a nearly 11yr old and a 2yr old as I couldn't decide if to have another or not! I've struggled massively this time around with my mental health but I wouldn't change anything for the world. Totally get where u are coming from I am nearly 10 weeks pregnant we around about the same time my date April but my wee boy was born 33 weeks c section so I will be a bit early x
Everything you’ve said is me I’ve got a 3 year old and my god it’s so hard and it’s the fear of upsetting my routine that works and is perfectly fine that puts me off another one it’s not that I don’t want a 2nd it’s just the fear of knowing what’s to come I don’t know if I’ll ever get over this fear it’s also the 2 car seats the night feeds then having the nursey/school run to do and my partner is so laid back he’s horizontal which doesn’t help my fears either 🤷🏻♀️ but it’s when I lost my mum if I didn’t have my sister I was ‘on my own’ and the thought of anything happening to either of us and my son being on his own kills me it’s not an easy decision to make and like you said the age gap is on,y getting bigger and I feel like the bigger the age gap it’s less appealing to go back and do it all again xx
Jade Smith It’s really a crap shoot. I feel like you need to have a baby for yourself not to give your child a sibling. My sister and I never got along and still don’t. There are plenty of siblings who don’t get along despite parents efforts. She has always been high maintenance and continues to drain my parents. My experience makes me scared to have a second. I don’t want my daughter to have a difficult or high maintenance sibling.

What an inspiration! Not many people would be as true and honest as you have been with your parenting journey! As a mother of 2 myself with a 4 year age gap I also questioned it alot but I wouldn't change anything for the world and once you have the routine you will be so surprised with yourself. Can't wait to see your journey on getting ready to become a mother of 2 but all you have to do is look at that amazing little girl you have already and know that you are the best mom they could ask for struggles or no struggles xxxxxx

I felt the exact same I promise. When we started ttc I actually hoped it would take longer than it did so I could have a bit more time. I actually sobbed when I got the positive test because I was so scared. I spoke to my midwife about how i was feeling and she reassured me it was very common. It took me about 3 or 4 months to be content with expecting again and once baby was born, I honestly looked back and wondered what I was so scared about. X

I’ve just had my second baby girl, she’s 6 weeks old.. my oldest is 3.5. I was sooo scared because I knew what to expect. But honestly I have found it so much easier than I thought, I really worked it up in my head! But honestly you will love being a mum to two children. I love it. Congratulations again 💕 xxx

You are so right when you say that people don't really state what they feel for fear of judgement, screw that, you are the perfect example of real and down to earth. I appreciate you so much, really. I can kind of relate to you in the sense of overthinking, but I had to force myself to stop and to let go and just ride the flow lol. It makes things easier. Remember not all nannies are the same, my daughter was HARD work, and I got pregnant and had my son exactly the same age gap as yours. He was a piece of cake, completely different lol. Wow... You upset in the clip saying you'd made a decision not to have anymore children... Is me right now, I'm so glad I'm not the only woman feeling like that, I literally have that same thing of one minute I'm saying I should have another one and then the next I'm saying I just can't do it. Most women I know say they'd have another child in a heart beat and I envy that. I know deep down, I would love another child and for my 2 year old son to have a younger brother or sister. But I'm just lost to weather I actually can. My son had such bad reflux, was under a pediatrician, still has a dairy allergy and hardly slept. And now he is going through the terrible twos. I'm so over the moon for you and this gives me hope. Congratulations to you all. You really are a realist and an inspiration hun xx

I have a daughter the same age as P and a 9 month old. I had my second child for the EXACT same reasons as you. To say I have struggled being a mum is an understatement but I’m glad I made the decision to have a second so I know that my child will never be alone. Yes you’re an over thinker but so am I and there is nothing wrong with that. Excited to see your new journey ❤️

I really struggled being do young at 19 with my first but we grew up together . I then fell pregnant at 24 with my second and it was the best decision I made it was like doing it all again felt like being a mum for the first time, you feel prepared and confident and I have enjoyed every second he has just started reception and I’m me again🙂

You will be amazed how it just clicks when you're new addition arrives Jess. It will be like he/she has always been there. The difference between any baby that comes along after your 1st is that they just fit in,what I mean by that is,you don't go with their routine (like your 1st) they go with yours. I'm a Mum of 6 and it just works,like you I'm a "planner" (Christmas is almost in the bag,even wrapped😂) so I can relate to you in that sense but you will do great..... I live my life with lists and I love it. Congratulations again and enjoy your pregnancy,I always missed my bump even though I had my baby (I sound nuts when I say that out loud) 😂 xx

There are struggles with 1 baby and struggles with 2 babies, kids are difficult! I used to plan and overthink everything but I've had 3 unplanned pregnancies and now shit just happens the way it happens. If dinner isn't at 5 then oh well it will be ready when it's ready where as if I only had 1 and dinner wasn't at 5 I would be freaking thinking I'm failing at life and my child will become a failure 😂 some shits not worth the stress or over think. The fact you care shows your a good mum x you got this 👌
I agree, I think this time round I will be a lot more relaxed. With P I was so uptight but obviously this time I have a child already to look after too 💗
@@JVCxo you'll probably notice Phoebe grows up alot and she will help you as much as she can so keeps her busy and out of trouble and makes it easier for you. This is everything. I have a toddler right now and we are in a place where we are really happy but our little boy has special needs and we will never have things like grandchildren from him and all we worry about it who’s going to look after him when we go. So we are trying for another baby. But I’m terrified x

I felt like this with my second pregnancy too and my anxiety was all over the place always making a bigger picture and other thinking but once he was with me all them thoughts went.. I think it’s just natural as you know what to expect this time around xx

It's such a hard one I have one full sibling & 2 half sister's and we are not close at all. I don't have anything to do with my mum & dad for different reasons. I do feel alone but I am happy as I don't have the stress anymore.
Not the only one to say they are distant with siblings, it’s a tricky one! What will be will be when they are older! xxx

I had a second baby purely for my daughter she was 4 at the time and begged me for a brother or sister, I was more than happy as I was with 1, I can honestly say 3 kids down best thing we have ever done, love them all equally which was always a worry for me, it will change your family forever for the better I promise xx

Age gap always played on my mind, I remember seeing other youtubers and thinking about the gaps they had 😂😂
For me personally I found having my second child a lot easier, simply because I sort of knew what to expect and I didn’t take things to seriously. I was less nervous about the silly things and so far she’s growing into a really chilled out little girl, all though we are approaching the terrible two’s so that will all probably change 😬😂

Exactly what I kept thinking before we tried! Well I always knew I wanted another but the reasons why I did want another was the same as you, didn’t want my first to be lonely etc wanted him to always have a friend. My first was 16 months when we decided to try and the next month I was pregnant. Then when I was pregnant I desperately wanted another boy and overthought that too... happily for me (of course a girl would of been nice too but just being honest) I got the second boy I wanted.
I found having the second so easy, the newborn stage was so easy, I missed my free time when my first was in bed at night etc as baby was still awake but didn’t bother me as much as I thought. Now my second is 14 months and I thought now would be when it would become easy, and I find it so hard! I’m mentally exhausted and drained but I wouldn’t change it for the world. And when one of them is driving me crazy the other one is almost guaranteed to put a smile on my face.
You will do fab, it’s so worth it. So pleased you are pregnant and I’m so excited to watch your journey! P will be a fab sister and your heart will be bigger than you ever thought possible x

Super excited for you 🤞🏼💜 I also am a massive planner & I knew when my first turned 1 we would try and it took me 3/4 months & I fell pregnant the exact same month I did first time round so had 2 June babies 2 weeks apart in birthdays ( ideally I didn’t want that but now I wouldn’t change it for the world ) I have 2 beautiful daughter & being so close in age plus same season means using all the old clothes again and it works with the seasons so I love it x x x

I'm glad you have spoken about the struggles I totally feel how I feel. My eldest was 4.5 yrs when I had my second before that I was terrified to go through it all again I honestly thought also I would only have one as I was traumatised from giving birth etc and toddler behaviour. When my second was born it was easier than first time, I hope it is for you too and good luck with the pregnancy. My son is also 4 in November 😊❤ xx

Sounds like me I've got a nearly 11yr old and a 2yr old as I couldn't decide if to have another or not! I've struggled massively this time around with my mental health but I wouldn't change anything for the world. I always said to myself I'll never regret having another but I'd regret not having another. You'll be fine xx

Everything you’ve said is me I’ve got a 3 year old and my god it’s so hard and it’s the fear of upsetting my routine that works and is perfectly fine that puts me off another one it’s not that I don’t want a 2nd it’s just the fear of knowing what’s to come I don’t know if I’ll ever get over this fear it’s also the 2 car seats the night feeds then having the nursey/school run to do and my partner is so laid back he’s horizontal which doesn’t help my fears either 🤷🏻♀️ but it’s when I lost my mum if I didn’t have my sister I was ‘on my own’ and the thought of anything happening to either of us and my son being on his own kills me it’s not an easy decision to make and like you said the age gap is on,y getting bigger and I feel like the bigger the age gap it’s less appealing to go back and do it all again xx
Jade Smith It’s really a crap shoot. I feel like you need to have a baby for yourself not to give your child a sibling. My sister and I never got along and still don’t. There are plenty of siblings who don’t get along despite parents efforts. She has always been high maintenance and continues to drain my parents. My experience makes me scared to have a second. I don’t want my daughter to have a difficult or high maintenance sibling.
