Definitely the best, most talented band around. I'm a heavy metal guy, but I'm gonna have to pause and listen to every single song by these guys..what a combination of talent here.
Damn! That Rickenbacker bass just CUTS LIKE A KNIFE! Why Glenn didn't just stick with that axe is one of life's great mysteries. Perfect foil for Joe Bonamassa's Srat tone. In their hands, "Mistreated" takes on a whole different, gut-wrenching vibe.
Yes, a Rick can be very delightful, but there is plenty of other beauties around. One problem with the Rick is that it likes to lose it's settings. Maybe Glenn was tired of the weekly visits at his guitar pro? Who knows.
I prefer the P Bass! For me the Rick doesn’t fit here, far too aggressive and dirty, it destroys John’s amazing guitar work in my opinion. Not a fan of Orange amps and speakers either, they’re just loud. I prefer Glenn’s Traynor set up with 16-10’s and the P Bass, that’s the ticket. But it’s clear, I’m the minority in this thread. 😆
1 month before Glenn Hughes 67 birthday, and sounds damn near as good as he did in his youth. Just amazing. And Joe, well hell I don't need to say a thing, he always plays great. Thanks for the upload. I liked this way better than the David Coverdale version Deep Purple did. Peace..
I’ve always preferred the MKII lineup of Deep Purple SLIGHTLY better then the MKIII - mainly because of their INCREDIBLE performance on Made In Japan - but I DO agree - Burn is without a doubt the best Deep Purple album ever - even to this date.
My 2nd favourite Band is Black Country Communion. I wanted to go to the local show on this 3rd tour having seen them there on their 1st tour and travelling to Manchester for the 2nd but the tickets were going for £100 n I couldn't afford that much!! 🤘🏻
@@robertstahl6443 No Joe is trying to cover the best ever. Ritchie was incredible. Joe can't get Ritchie's Tone. But he did well. Great Guitarist but he had the greats to learn from.
Just average. Hendrix, Plant, Jeff Beck and even John squire, Johnny Marr...are better. He just seems to be a decent blues guitarist doing usually bluesy stuff.
Come and play in the USA. You guys are awesome. Great talent and Joe can play any kinda of music. Really like him in this new rock and roll music. Put them on the radio someone... Keep it going
Thanks for sharing such a great track with such talented artists. Always liked Glenn and Deep Purple back then, and Bonamassa is perhaps the most talented Axman alive or in even history. Does BBC still have LZ's drummers son on drums. Again TY.
You're welcome. Yes, Jason Bonham is still on skins for BCC. They've just been in the studio for album number 5, which should be out near the end of this year. Something to look forward to. 😁
@@akaWooders Shame on me for forgeting Bonham's name, should have known. What a collection of talent. Good to know they have another album out late this year. Thanks!
Paul, as you can see I was standing to one side of the stage and Derek was directly in front of me therefore out of camera shot as I filmed the Glenn in the centre of the stage. If you watch my recording of Last Song For My Resting Place you can see him on that one.
Glenn said that Geezer Butler borrowed his rick and kinda never retired it lol. Geezer loved that bass also video out of geezer playing Glenn's bass. He might of got his rickenbacker bass back. He does call that rick " her majesty"
Sorry about that. Because I stood to the left of the stage to get Glenn and Joe in the same shot and also Joe more head on than side on (you'll see he is mostly turned toward Glenn), I didn't see much of Derek. Derek was actually right in front of me as you'll see in the video of Last Song For My Resting Place on my channel. Check it out and you'll see Derek.
You never see this song covered. I still put Ritchie ahead of Joe but I mean this is a sensational cover by younger guys lol. Who's that guy singing he's pretty good. Bravo!
Nice thought Mark, but I'm just happy to be able to share this fantastic piece of music with you all. If you want to make any financial contribution it should go to the artists so please promise you'll buy the DVD/BluRay when it's released. :)
How come?! Gleen can still sing that high at 66! Damm! This dude is incredible! Fuckin' amazing!
" THE VOICE OF ROCK !!!! " GLENN HUGHES !!!
Definitely the best, most talented band around. I'm a heavy metal guy, but I'm gonna have to pause and listen to every single song by these guys..what a combination of talent here.
Brother Vance, BCC is a very underrated band.! BCC is one of my all-time bands. I' am an old late 70s-80s big hair band fan.
they are aliens
It's pretty Heavy

Yes! The sound of a Rickenbacker is like thunder!

Mind blown!!! It makes me cry how good these guys are.
Glenn makes me either crack up or shed a tear
To see this band live is what’s keeping me forging through this fucking dystopian Covid bullshit nightmare.
Phenomenal super group, going to see zakk wylde tomorrow night buffalo, Satriani and Petrucci the 20th. And Bonamassa for the fifth time in April.
Absolutely superb - this is why guys like Glenn Hughes keep on going - he must have walked off stage thinking "yeah! thats what its all about!!"
u mean...."keep on moving" ;)

Thanks for the thanks. 😉 I knew immediately it was my gig of the year despite it being only a few days into the new year.
Joe is great guitarist!! Bravo!! Love their Both!! Great musicans!!
This performance floats me back to the 70's...
*Burn* - best album ever.

When musical souls collide. Love it
Glenn "The voice of Rock"Hughes 🎤😎👊
Apaixonados por Glenn hughes, sensacional
oh my oh my! goosebumps here! this is divine!
Glenn Huges the voice of rock, I've been a fan since the first time I heard Trapese in 1969!
super musicians play
Glenn Hughes is 100% a rocker. He's got it down as down can get!
Old school of hard rock. Wonderful.
Good God I love to listen to that man play! Thanks so much for posting
Yep, I too find this a religious experience.
When people can play to the degree you can really fill it, man that is very spiritual!!!!!!! AMAZING
What a power super group. Love them all.
I enjoyed it immensely. Masterpiece! Thanks.
Goddamn! Those VOCALS!!!!
Now that's a touch. I got chills..
Bestiales! Qué calidad de músicos. Glenn Hughes, mi eterna admiración hacia ti. 🤘🤘
The Ricky, and the huge Orange amps--right out of the 70's--SO GOOD to hear!! Thanks for posting this clip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
You're welcome. Yes, it takes you right back to those halcyon days when it was all about the music.
God I miss Ronnie, RIP🤘
Watching Joe Bonamassa smirk as he watches Glen tear it up on the base says it all about this song. Powerhouse group of musicians having a good time.
Superb! Amazing! Fantastic! Come to Brazil, guys!!!!!!!!! Glenn better than ever! Bonamassa kicking asses!
O Glenn Hughes vem em abril.
Tô sabendo! Valeu! Mas seria o máximo o BCC vir completo tb, apesar de pouco conhecido por aqui.
My 2nd favourite Band is Black Country Communion. I wanted to go to the local show on this 3rd tour having seen them there on their 1st tour and travelling to Manchester for the 2nd but the tickets were going for £100 n I couldn't afford that much!!
🤘🏻
Amazing that Glenn can hold and reach notes from some 40 odd years ago.
I don't even think he did it as well as that back then either
Or even 50 years ago at this point...
Quem conhece Glenn hughes se apaixona 😍😍😍😍😍 tanto pela pessoa quanto pelo talento musical, se falar da voz divina q tem
A voz do cara não envelhece, é impressionante
Glen Hughes and Joe Bonamassa. Perfect combination
Glenn, The last one Really Pure Purple.
Absolute force of nature! How old?!! What a voice and what a role model for us older rockers!!👍\m/
I would like him to be part of the band today. It would be Great!
Joe is without doubt a Force of Nature (and Jason's no slouch) but to hear Glenn's great voice makes me nostalgic for good ol' Trapeze...
Joe B is the greatest guitarist of the modern day era.
Maybe best ever!!!!!
I thought it was Alex Skonick
@@keithfreeland7638 alex is definitely one of them

1st solo of joe bonamassa is masterpiece
What a bass player! Ufff. . Masters!
Amazing skill and talent on display from all you superb guys
Simplemente. .... SENSACIONAL !!!!!!
Bonamassa's Fender sounds so good here ! Great technique too. Glenn's bass sounds pretty distorted and is overwhelming.
That was insane!
Amazing!
Hell YES!! Thanks for the video. Can't wait for the DVD

Glenn Hughes can talk with dolphins with his falsetto.. 😊
Way too much experience on stage. Gotta love it. The courage to work together. No pride
In effing credible, Hughes still in prime shape like as if he's still in his twenties

Magic
I'll Make Your Tears go away...
Not sure what happened between these two artist but they were fantastic together !
Nothing happened. BCC is a side project for Glenn and Joe and the next BCC album is in the can and will be released in the new year.

So badass!
Glenn looks cool with long hair again, just needs the white lycra jumpsuit now and we are back in the 70's :o)
Alright Glenn!!!! The Fireglow Rickenbacker!!!! Decent man!!!
Glenn Hughes, Joe Bonamossa, and Jason Bonham. BCC. playing Deep Purple. Gets no better.
And Derek Sherinian.
Hughes played with Deep Purple
Where is Derek on the keyboards?
Paul, as you can see I was standing to one side of the stage and Derek was directly in front of me therefore out of camera shot as I filmed the Glenn in the centre of the stage. If you watch my recording of Last Song For My Resting Place you can see him on that one.
A maior banda de rock do mundo

Will do, have seen GH and JB numerous times throughout the U.S. Thanks again \m/
Joe Bonamassa ohhhhh
Age must be Glenning so hard right now, 'cause Glenn refuses to age... I wanna know the secret!
Damn that Rick sounds thicc!!
I am a huge Blackmore fan. Bonamassa tries to not be. And yet, he keeps slipping in things like this...
Mr 59 Les Paul says, hey I know who Ritchie is, I think I have a Strat in my collection...
Za to Hughes, to je děs !!
