Can I suggest you can buy a filter. For example if you spend 100k on a player you can add premier league filter but will cost you 50k so total will be 150k
A few things that could potentially elevate the series : Wheel Spin for formations, Wheel Spin for Budget, Special Rule Per Person (ex - Mandatory Nationality/Club). Just a few suggestions, love the series
I think one of the things that makes SBSD so popular is the fact the fact that you can ruin your opponents team out of no where, whether it be luck by guessing or by strategy.
I feel like there has to be something added to that effect in this. The viewer wants stuff to happen that they might not expect. Watching two dudes just make teams can be okay, but tweaking it a bit can help reach a broader audience.
Maybe, have the other player guess who's gonna pop up the most during your search for player, then if they get it right, you lose that player altogether, including the price you were gonna pay for it. Just an idea. Keep it up!
This is a class series, maybe a wheel spin for budget could be fun even if it was just used sporadically
You should definitely chuck some bronze jeopardy into this somehow! Like Jacks idea of if no one comes up in you price range you get a bronze, if you choose an incorrect position yo get a bronze. And assume your screen sharing, maybe don’t and try to guess a player that will appear in the 1st page, any player, if you guess correct you have to insert a player of your choosing into their squad?
Maybe use the difference in team rating and chem, with the lowest of both having a bronze? so there will be at least 2 bronzes per episode, the bronze could be picked by randomizing or with a search?
Love the series so far - interested to see what this looks like at the start of an EAFC cycle. Perhaps a way around one player copying the other's position and price range would be to spin a wheel for the position you have to choose - also resulting in more mayhem 😎
This may become my go-to No1 series. Now that Rock Paper Stat is gone.

I found some of the comments you made while making selections a bit weird, and I think a simple adjustment you could make. Just to what you are talking about in the video. Would be to simply divide the coin total by 10 at the start out loud, so you have the "average per position" number in your head as you go.

Suggestion. If you build a team with full chemistry you get an extra x amount of coins to spend to upgrade a position.
An interesting rule would be that you're able to search for a specific card type(except toty) but you dont get to set a price range and it cost 25k more per month into the game it was released, so like rulebreakers is 25k, Winter Wildcard Icon is 100k, Future Stars is 125k, etc
Maybe an idea for this series would be to add a wheel for the budget, maybe with the max at 1 mil, just so there's more variety between episodes

You should add in a wildcard at the end. Pick a figure at the start of the episode (50k for examples sakes) and special, no positions so if you play it tactically and cheap out on a position, you might get lucky but its all down to chance

I actually liked the rule that you only can upgrade to sbcs. Obviously you've recorded this video before the one in Andy's channel but i would love it if you stick with that rule
You could add a rule where you can set the league but would cost extra coins that cant be spent on the player

Nah upgrades are good tbh, just limited it to sbc upgrades and you get two upgrades to any card, but you have to say I’m going to upgrade one of my cm before picking so it’s a bit more mayhem if you get sharfted then unlucky 😭😭

For example if you put £70k and the player is 62k then you’ve got 8k left.

I say you can upgrade bet you need to pay 150% more to upgrade so 250% total of the amount you spendes
James gotta stop seaching for players after he sees the price from kirbz. Use the next page instead so its a surprise or 10k difference minimum
