I like that the Days actually take a decent amount of time to pass and you put Almost full Gameplay in the video and I watched through the whole entire thing without skipping, nothing. This was very interesting and you earned a new sub

I really hope that some of Ark 2’s survival mechanics are somewhat similar to this. It’s such a missed opportunity just using fiber and hide that can be obtained basically anywhere instead of making every wild creature useful to kill just for some resource only they drop and not just for boss tributes but for crafting as well. The nest system and saddle tier systems are cool and immersive as well. Also commenting on the Rock Elemental dropping nothing of note, it could be a cool addition to this mod to allow it to drop an “Elemental Core” that you could use with a bunch of other rare resources including stone to craft/summon your own to raise. Maybe make the wild ones stronger and or more dangerous too.

I still obviously want it to feel like ARK, but with a creative spin. If it’s too similar to the original, there’s very little reason for it to be a sequel over just a DLC. I’m one of the people that loved Primitive plus, but wished that it’s style could have been incorporated into the game proper for a best of both worlds. Also generally the primitive plus servers were just so underpopulated, underutilized, and barren to me. Despite my earlier points, I’m not disagreeing with the separate mode idea nor am I saying it isn’t a sound idea.

After all the time I've spent playing ark, modded and unmodded, pve and pvp. I don't think I genuinely have found such a good group of people to watch, this guy, zany zebra and a few others. I really do miss when people played the game purely for fun and not for pvp or blah blah. Tl;dr Loved the video.
Banana sprinkles is my favorite tame, it absolutely destroys bosses has severe reduced damage due to natural armor and is is just incredibly op, can only be found in the deepest part of caves, and has a 0.00000000001% chance of spawning

I just want to point out for anybody who wants to try this mod out, harvesting parts from animals can be speed up by investing in the crafting skill. part of the mods design was to encourage different player builds than the normal ones.

Not gonna lie it’s currently 12:23 am and I’m going back to school tomorrow or technically today so I’m staying up to watch you lol I need to be up in 3 hours this is total a fail on my end
you know I remember there was a rumor at one point that Ark 2 wouldn't have dino taming. Maybe its a case of the rumor got garbled and the reality is there will be no knockout taming and instead use a system like this. Especially with smarter dinos this could be really cool: migrating herds, different members of a pack having different roles, "that ones clearly the pack alpha", "that one is the nurse", etc, it could make the sequel feel much more alive than ark 1 does. Also great video. you make me REALLY want to do a playthrough with the hunted mod but I have the Microsoft version :( gonna buy a steam copy next time it goes on sale
