    So is the concensus that there wasn't enough piston to wall clearance? Or was it an oil delivery issue? Oil pump cavitation?

      Leaned out. Not enough fuel added top end .

    That ladder wasn't locked 🤣🤣 but glad you didn't let that bring you down. Good luck on your build

    The rings on k24a2 are at risk above 380 whp.always remeber that.if its very old lke 150k-200k miles,than u can boost to may be 500.coz at that time rings are loose for boost
    Ring gaps are tight as these are NA engines.

    real street should have the type s oil pump

      Some gentleman on fb worked with me and helped me get all the parts for the swap in a few days.

      You want to know why your engine blew it happened to me with my first builds you had ping because of the 95 octane so you was getting alot of detonation but with that new set up your good e85 is the way you really don't need the flex fuel sensor I'm not running it on my set up but you need to build your transmission before you put it back in its gonna grenade after 500hp

      @@chuie180 Yupp all 4 pistons melted. But I don’t think it was because of the fuel. 450hp on a built k24 on pump gas should be able to run a lot longer then a drive from the dyno. I had it street tuned on 14psi pump gas and it ran just fine for several months I just decided to get it dyno tuned to see my numbers.

    Damn bro that sucks just subscribed to your videos great work btw keep them coming your work and knowledge is inspiring just got my TSX what sidewinder manifold are you running btw? I've been eyeballing the PLM one

      Thank you appreciate that. I got a bunch parts coming in will re do the turbo instal videos. I went with a 1320 rsx type s sidewinder. Had to shorten the waste gate flange

    Dayum man pushed a little to hard, hope it wasn’t tuner error either.. I actually noticed in the last video when you were doing the pulls how much the smoke dumped out

    • @RuskiRedneck
      @RuskiRedneck  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah I noticed some smoke on the dyno. Some is normal in a turbo application. But seemed a bit much for me. Something cause pre detonation. Other then that the motor should have been plenty happy on 14psi.

      @@RuskiRedneck hmmm kinda strange given you kinda just rebuilt the motor right?
      Sucks that it couldn’t last ya a little bit to have some fun but best of luck on the rebuild!

    dam bro can’t be pushing power out of a stock internal motor without gapping rings and upgrading head gaskets/studs lol rip

    What u doing with the stock piston out of the next block u going to use

    • @RuskiRedneck
      @RuskiRedneck  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Those stock pistons have cracked ringlands. Pretty much just paper weight.

  • @ahmadamir1694
    @ahmadamir1694 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Do you know why it overheated?

    • @RuskiRedneck
      @RuskiRedneck  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Something caused knock or pre detonation. And that’s the number one killer for all motors. I don’t really want to blame the tune but it’s kinda hard not to since I’ve had it around 12-14psi for the past 2 months with no issues driving it just as hard. Could have been an underlying issue. Could have been a mechanical issue on my end. Fuel return or fuel pump could have stopped working. Lack of fuel and a lot of air. But It does look like I had a lot of oil in my cylinder fresh oil change before the dyno and the oil smelled burnt af after it blew. Could have started getting oil into the cylinder during the dyno and it could have caused hot spots down the road.

      @ahmadamir1694 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RuskiRedneck Damn, a limp mode doesn't activate when knock numbers went up? That's usually what's supposed to happen when oil pressure numbers drop, A/F ratio isn't safe, or Knock numbers aren't where they're supposed to be. Limp mode usually saves engines.

    • @RuskiRedneck
      @RuskiRedneck  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ahmadamir1694 I absolutely agree with you my brothers bmw does that. but as far as I know all I have is a boost cut. I’ll look into it for this build. Our knock sensors are for n/a cars. When We street tuned we had a lot of knock in high rpms we pulled timing to like 1-2* and added fuel. On the Dyno has almost no knock and had 12-13* of timing and not as much fuel in the same rpms. In a way the street tune had a safer high rpm tune but didn’t pull as hard top end

      Getting the stock head ported. From what I hear it’s fine to keep oem cams under 700hp.

    Why you keep saying you blew the motor? You blew the head gasket.. that’s different. Motor should be fine🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐

    • @RuskiRedneck
      @RuskiRedneck  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well I was really hoping that was the case but deep inside I knew better. Unfortunately after pulling it apart. All 4 pistons were melted. Ran too hot.
