Thank you for sharing the beauty of the veldt flowers, they are so unique! The dark pink that resembles the shape of petunias, what a colour and then there were so many others I remember seeing when I was a child walking in the veld. The ones that resembles sweet peas. They always fascinated me. Do you remember the so called ;wild tomatoes', the plant had many thorns and flowers like tomatoes and as the plant grew undisturbed there appeared tiny tomatoes. Many seeds inside though. Nature truly is amazing, I think there are still many gems hidden that we have not yet discovered. For the first time we had wonderful rain during the night, I think about 15=20 mls fell in comparison to the usual 4 and 5 mls. The storms passed us by all this time and our rain eventually fell. It feels like a new world out there this morning. Do enjoy your holidays and enjoy your walks in nature. Happy Festive Season.

Beautiful, I watched the whole thing. Can tell its a bit drier than usual but nearly all the classic earlier highveld flowers are in there. Relaxing music too.

It shows their resilience and drought tolerance. Will be interesting to see how the season progresses.
