Nathan has the best quality of workmanship I've seen on TH-cam when it comes to sling-shots. They are truly beautiful works of art. He is also very inspiring. I hope that one day I can come close to his artistry, but that day is far in the future. I am always impressed with people of quality and I am impressed even more to find such in dealings with such a simple thing as a sling-shot.
Joerg, I've watched almost all your videos now, and it's terrific to see you so humbled by another man's craftsmanship. It's wonderful to see your passion for what you do. Keep up the great work. I'm a true fan!
@setchmo The bands Nathan put on are for smaller ammo and don't need the draw weight I normally use. But the frames are strong enough even for monster bands.
@rickydeeman The method Nathan uses is pretty much standard now. The attachment is so firm that you can rather rip the bands than slide off the bindings. Rubber is amazing.
@DuralastTurbo Wrist supports are necessary for badly designed slingshots. A good, low fork and comfortable handle means your limit is the pouch hand, not the fork hand.
@RnW93 The bands are a lot weaker than mine, but that can be changed of course. My power bands can only be drawn on hammer grip frames, and they require strength plus practice.
amazing catapults, from the moment i first seen some of nathans work i said they are the best looking catapults about, top class work from a top class guy !!!
@JoergSprave as a youth of Australia i commend you on your solid efforts in creating amazing, beautiful and innovative slingshots. Although the slingshots shown in the video above are from Flippinout, I truely admire your designs and plan on replecating some of your earlier and present masterpieces :) You're a true inspiration, please keep up the brilliant work my friend.
I agree Joerg. You are too modest my friend. As one german to another you should be proud of your slingshot designs. My personal favorites are your brass cast ones. They look so powerful and sturdy. I forget the name, the one with the multi hold grip with the lowset forks. That is my favorite. I think that might be the one you annihilated your hand with hehe.
Jörg Sprave for President of the United States! The craftsmanship is beautiful on them slingshots! Selling yourself a bit short though Jörg, you could replicate that slingshot and with your own twist on top of everything!
@KhaosCorporation Why? My motto: Be passionate, caring and supportive towards your friends. Be fierce and without mercy towards your enemies. Be professional towards the rest.
AHAHAHAHA I always love to see a troll's comment backfire on him! And I'm glad you are a youtube partner, cause your videos are amazing. They deserve money. P.S. Are you right or left handed? I am ambidextrous and am thinking about taking up the slingshot hobby, so I am curious which hand most pro's use.
YOU MUST HAVE BROKE LOTS OF WINDOWS WHEN YOU WHERE LITTLE....I COULD TELL BY THE WAYS YOU SMILE EVERY TIME YOU TAKE A SHOOT....YOUR FUNNY....IT'S KEEPING YOU YOUNG....KEEP SMILING ....BRO
@TweakRacer Sorry to disappoint you, but I never used steroids, just beer and benchpressing. And just so you know, that slingshot will retain its value for sure. Anyway, thanks for watching this fool's video! Your click helped paying for my hobby, as I am a youtube partner.
96.5% of you probably won't even read this..but I'm nearly 17 and I am trying my best to become a horse. On the 24th of December I am travelling to the wide open fields of Nevada to hopefully learn from the best horses. Being a horse means a lot to me. I've just started my training. I have just nailed horseshoes to my feet (really hurts) and shaved my hair into a horse mane. It would mean the world to me if you supported me and helped me complete my ambition.
Hay Joerg the stamp on the rubber ban was done using a pad pressure printer it's pretty cool it can print on any surface like golf balls to coffee mugs sunglasses anything you can imagine. I love watching your video's they make me laugh in this time when I've been fighting for my life for the last year. You always hear be careful going to the hospital well. The hospital gave me a Staff infection that don't want to die. It really sucks. On April 24 There going to try again and do surgery Me and my friends love your video's Keep up your video's they really do help thanks so much
I clicked the link to check out the website but every slingshot i clicked on was sold out. Do i have to custom order one or are they really just all out of stock?
My stepfather knows how to do that, maybe I'll show him this video. Question, though: what if one wanted to strengthen it? Would the configuration inhibit adding another band?
@italianbroker1 exactly! this man rly brightens up my day with his honest, almost childish smile. he manages to be professional and pleasant at the same time. Gut gemacht, Herr Sprave!
Hey Joerg, I just got a Barnett Black Widow Slingshot and I was wondering what would be the best type of ammunition?, I'm using 8mm Steel Balls at the moment and I can't even put a dent in a can lol.
These slingshots all look really amazing. However, compared to the ones you build yourself, they´re rather quiet. Why is that? Are they less powerful than a Sprave slingshot?

Wow, enthusiast slingshots for slingshot enthusiasts. I'm not in the market for one, but you can't help but admire the work that goes into them.
the fire really accents the video, its relaxing
@setchmo The bands Nathan put on are for smaller ammo and don't need the draw weight I normally use. But the frames are strong enough even for monster bands.
Your enthusiasm is what makes your videos so awesome!
My gosh they are gorgeous.
You can really tell how much a man loves his hobby by the way he coos over a new piece

@VideoAdventurer Yes.
you know you're good when Joerg Sprave is envious of your slingshots.
@RnW93 The bands are a lot weaker than mine, but that can be changed of course. My power bands can only be drawn on hammer grip frames, and they require strength plus practice.

i greatly enjoy watching your videos! thanks for being awesome!
@Chaingangboy89 Möglicherweise hilft auch ein Bad in Epoxy, so wie bei Micarta.
Nice slingshots he made. Good to see your hand healing up.

The only good intro on TH-cam.
@Thesmurfeater12345 Nathan is really successful at the moment, and rightfully so. Smart people get on the waiting list.
You look so happy when you shoot the slingshots XD
@CineresCineribus My woodworking has improved much, but I am no match for Nathan.
lol the outro with him walking alongside that nun cracks me up
Ahhhh! I can't get to his site. I've got to have one of those antler slingshots. My gosh, that's the best workmanship I have ever seen.
the face you make afther shoothing is like a kid with new toys, you really seem to enjoy those slingshots
@PyroDeath19 Then maybe you should change your moniker. It sounds more fierce than you are.
Nice slingshots, do they come without the masonic compass and square?
AHAHAHAHA I always love to see a troll's comment backfire on him! And I'm glad you are a youtube partner, cause your videos are amazing. They deserve money.
P.S. Are you right or left handed? I am ambidextrous and am thinking about taking up the slingshot hobby, so I am curious which hand most pro's use.

500…just make your own for 30$
you are a lucky guy to have all those slingshots
@GuitaristCliff99 Because this would mean to loose my hobby.
@DuralastTurbo Those are clumsy, bulky, awkward and illegal (here).
The green slingshot is my favorite :D
did you replace the bands that it came with or did you just use it as it came?
theyre really goodlooking and shooting slingshots. nice

My stepfather knows how to do that, maybe I'll show him this video. Question, though: what if one wanted to strengthen it? Would the configuration inhibit adding another band?

Hey Joerg, I just got a Barnett Black Widow Slingshot and I was wondering what would be the best type of ammunition?, I'm using 8mm Steel Balls at the moment and I can't even put a dent in a can lol.
Joerg, I really want to buy a slingshot but I have never owned nor have I ever shot one. Any suggestions for a beginner like me?
Ty, and by the way it is " You're "
These slingshots all look really amazing. However, compared to the ones you build yourself, they´re rather quiet. Why is that? Are they less powerful than a Sprave slingshot?
Awh, Joerg.
you almost sound heart-broken saying you couldnt do this, or couldnt do as good.
But his are missing one thing! The special Joerg flare
@magicman3006 I never sell.
How do you get the slingshot at 3:12? I went to their website and all they have is made from birch.
hey joerg you got any tips on making a slingshot? I cant afford a real one so i wanted to make one
you can weave office rubber together and make a realy strong but stiff cord perfect for target shooting
That cut on your left hand, is that from a slinghot? ._.
Hey Joerg. If you grew a handlebar moustache, put on a set of shades, and a golf shirt I'll bet you would look like Matt Burch.
Where do you get all your materials
how is this material written which the peerless is made of? cant find it on google :/
I find it funny in this video when you are talking about dollar amounts and say "worth every penny".
