I'm trying to do this exact same thing but with a rotor inside the cylinder. When I do the square and choose slice material, it does not let me because there is an object already inside *a rotor. Is it necessary to do the slice option if I'm trying to build this kind of mesh for a rotor? Thank you in advance! Pj
When you split these faces.. does it will affect the solution? Please help I have the same geometry enclosed in a cubical fluid domain. How should i proceed?
Hi friend, It should not, if your geometry is very complicated the best is to use a tetrahedral mesh and if it is not you can base on this tutorial. Best Regards
Hi friend, Yes, I will make a tutorial about mesh curve soon, This tutorial was an answer to a subscriber that need generate a structured mesh (flow in the center of pipe). Best Regards
@@ansys_cfd I sent my curve shape in facebook , I need mesh in curve like the mesh in tutorial name ( ANSYS MESHING - Hexahedral Mesh - Intermediate Tutorial 3 ) please
How do you decide small square dimensions please tell me
@@mihirpatil4513 hi friend, You need to make sensibility analisys.
@ansys_cfd how to do it 😅..

This tutorial is about meshing or cad modeling?
This tutorial is for a fluid flow inside the inner tube right? Not in between the two pipes.
Hii
I am doing different shape of cylinder but meshing is not well please guide me. D = 18 mm and L=65 mm.
Hi .Can you post a video about effects of a magnetic field on the flow of a nanofluid around a fixed cylinder .thanks

What’s the purpose of creating a prism inside ?
Generate a structured mesh but you can use this method: th-cam.com/video/GBdSbEVWjVI/w-d-xo.html
avoid singularity
Can you tell me the name of the song? :) BTW very usefull tips for Ansys :) My regards!
Thank for your exceptional tutorials
What are the gains of freezing the big body?
Hi friend;
Thanks, well when you use frozen you can keep separate the bodies and create several bodies together.
Best Regards
