Some songs don't need genius interviews, like I'm not hating on the song itself, but some songs are just basic pop bops that are really self explanatory

@@chiaki5076 no, genius set up has 4 mics, there is two inner mics that capture noice and 2 outer mics that capture noise that went past the inner mics, Genious would usually lower down the first 2 mics when she said the 2nd syllable of monster. They did not lower it though, thats why it sounds weird. Gabbie did nothing wrong, it was Genius who messed up.

She should have taken into consideration her surroundings and how to balance her voice out in that setting. Think inside versus outside. When you’re inside, you don’t talk/sing/scream the way that you would if you were outside because your voice is going to bounce off of surfaces and be amplified. Take that, add it to the fact that there are 4 mics in that room, plus cameras. You don’t need to propel your voice nearly as much. Not saying she did something wrong, she just got carried away when she should have been a tad more mindful of where she was and what the occasion was.

I honestly think all of these interviews sounded good, and most of the people like gabbie, jacob, and loren aren’t professional singers but they still sounded good and kept a good tone. its really difficult especially when you’re new to singing and nervous to sing live. They made me do a “personality reel” which is where I pitch my “personality” (the made up character that fits the way people would assume I am) none of it was my idea, except for a few normal TH-cam videos when I wanted to be a TH-camr. They made me add singing, dancing, song writing, all these things I can’t do and then they just hired everyone to fix what I made so it’s good

You are right, but if a song has lyrics that are easy to understand at first listen, Genius shouldn't make a video about it, because why would any want the song broken down for them. Genius is annoying because they typically make videos about singles *not* because their lyrics are hard to dissect, but because the song is trending and they would get tons of views.

I agree. She’s trying to belt way too much and go out of her vocal range. If she found her voice she could have so much potential. (and Im pretty sure if she became a better person she’s be WAYYY more successful in her career)
She does know her range, it's just that she doesn't know how to reach it. She must learn how to sing out of her diaphragm when belting, but more than that, she should try working on a mixed voice rather than belting out the highest notes. She could also use some head voice

None of them are bad singers actually. Loren's song is just childish and she just tries to sound cute while singing. Gabbie tried to sound edgy and screamed her lyrics, even though her speaking voice is really soft. Jacob was the worst of them, he wasn't even trying. Lele didn't try to sound good either, she was having fun. Meanwhile the "underrated" ones took it more seriously so they all tried to sing it well.

None of them are bad singers actually. Loren's song is just childish and she just tries to sound cute while singing. Gabbie tried to sound edgy and screamed her lyrics, even though her speaking voice is really soft. Jacob was the worst of them, he wasn't even trying. Lele didn't try to sound good either, she was having fun. Meanwhile the "underrated" ones took it more seriously so they all tried to sing it well.
