You need a custom box not another subwoofer.....give those kickers some port area. That port is not big enough. Those 12" subwoofers can breathe in a big box. The range in box size makes a gigantic difference as does the port.
do like the hifonics amps great choice /you did a nice job on that keep up the good work
I've had my comp q 12s for 3 or 4 years they still hitting hard. They have been my favorite subs I have ever had. For the price these subs knock. Oh I really think you need a bigger box I would take up the entire trunk with a custom bro
Great subs by far I love them. I would do the custom box route very soon for my Q50
DSP is what you need. I got a M45, a million speakers needs management.
my guess is box is to small for the subs if you like low bass gotta have the box big enough and port right i can my a system sound totally different with different box if i had those subs people would say dam you must have 4 12s in the trunk when there's only 2 i still get people that's say that even on my 30 year old school Rockford power dvc 12s they scratch there head when i open the trunk after i let them here it
clean setup Can’t go cheap if you want good quality
I agree! Still got plans of adding more to it, but it will come down the line 😂
I sold a Kicker 15 that I had for 12 years. It was on a 1000 watt amp and it was rated at 300rms. Those subs take power all day. I now have a Kicker Q 12 on a 1200.1
you can go up to 3.25 cubes per subwoofer on those.....thats a huge box and the port can be much bigger....You way better off going with a bigger box and port than another 12...then you will really be choking them out.
I just got this sub and my rear view mirror shakes a lot and falls down when I have on full blast do u recommend any strong mirrors so it won’t fall down
Tbh I’m not sure my mirror fell off in my other car and I haven’t gotten it fixed yet. Thanks for watching bro 💯💯
Cut the rear deck up top. I had those subs, they hit hard. Upgrade a box & take the factory sub out. Dynamat the deck & you’ll be fine. Don’t turn your box around that’s not the right advice. Subs need to bounce off something to change the sound wave direction. The subs facing toward you won’t give the result you want.
They hit hard for sure. I put two horns where the factory subs go. I didn’t wanna cut nothing because the valve will go down. But I sold this car and idk if the new owner will upgrade the box. Thanks for watching bro 💯💯
The subs are sealed off from the cabin thats why it doesn't hit. Turn the subs towards the cabin and put the back seats down.
I have them same subs in my Tundra with 2 single sealed boxes. I looking for a dual ported box. What size is your box?
What radio model
Pioneer but but forgot the model. I made a review on this radio on my channel and I said the model name.
Get a DSP, a second (4) channel and run your system “Active”and you will be so much better
Your Crossovers are set too high IMO. Sub 80hz Front 80-100 and rear 120. You have no midbass based on your settings . But it’s all about how you like it.
Slap on bro…
It sounded good to me tbh, but I don’t have the car anymore someone else enjoying it now.
hate kicker subs - i have two wish i would have never bought them/power hungry/
I grew up on kicker they always had their own sound they definitely hit hard and also power hungry gotta feed em for sure nice vid 👍🏽
I been rocking with kicker for years and I never looked back 😂 these are definitely worth the money. Thanks for watching bro 💯💯
