The TH-cam for TV app, for some reason, keeps playing the intro music over the entire thing and I'm losing my MIND
This happened to me as well. Watching it on my phone nd the audio syncs up fine as soon as I stream it on tv its a full 9 min behind. I ha e never seen this happen before.
I'm having the same issue. Had to check my phone to see if I was going crazy because I can see them talking like nothing is wrong.

I've never played, seen, or heard of this game, but this is my favorite McElroyale.
Nothing has made me laugh more than the damn game Rescue and how insane every part of it is "there was no rescue" made me cackle as much as the six men just jumping out of the side of a building in succession

I love that the podcast came from making each other laugh growing up and this stream comes from the games they played. I think they found it.
This reminded me of the gameplay videos that Justin and Griffin did at Polygon. (They did more than just Monster Factory and Awful Squad, btw). I haven't laughed this hard in a while.
I am loving Victory McElroyale in general. Sea of Thieves was pretty good, too, but it was starting to be less funny as they got better at the game. That game is fun to play, but it's stream poison.
Ahhh! Came here to say this! I used to be addicted to those and came upon them about a year after they stopped them. I loved the binge but was sad it ended and would LOVE if I could scratch that itch again.
I think sea of thieves was a good one-off but man I am over fortnight. Not even the brothers can rescue that snoozefest for me.

i'm mostly bedbound atm and i've been struggling bigtime trying to find longer stuff i can focus on cos i'm having to take a way lower dose of my adhd meds for a bit (haven't been able to focus on a single movie yet lol) and this video has now made my day unbelievably more bearable. this is gonna sound weird + corny but i think there's something about the fact that i know you guys' voices so well (since i've been listening to + watching mcelroy fam stuff for... over a decade now yowza) that means i always have an easier time focusing on stuff you do, and i have no way of expressing how important that is for me in times like these when i can barely do anything even just around my own house. yes i know i'm being excessively sappy in the comment section of a video of three strangers playing old video games, shut up. thanks boys.

The element off this game where the timer defines your movement is actually really great. It creates a lot of tension when you do know the answer.

i remember this game. i. REMEMBER this game. seeing those shoes, the board shape, the specific flavor of the play screen combined with the music and the pencil movement, all of it eerily familiar in a way that’s almost artificial. i remember this game. i’ve played this fucking game and i know it with a surprising amount of certainty considering the fact that i forgot it existed for almost 20 years. i was probably 5 the last time i played this. i feel like an Anticipation sleeper agent. i’m simultaneously drawn to it and threatened by it because it came from a time when i was barely cognizant. i feel a very subtle and specific kind of dread. or maybe… anticipation.

I swear I thought no one else remembered this game. I feel so satisfied and a little freaked out that this game wasn't just a fever dream. Also as I was an only child with no friends (and still am) I had to play the AI, who were absolutely impossible at some difficulty levels.
That first try with Rescue is very accurate to my experience with the game as a kid.

I’m pretty sure that Rescue is the game my babysitter once brought over to play while watching me and my brother and I’ve been looking for it for like 30 years. Oh my god, I was about to post on r/tipofmytongue and here it is, right in front of me, in all its McElroyic glory.
Gonna be honest, this is the first of this series I've tuned into because it's NOT a royale! Thats not to say you shouldn't keep up with those, but this feels a lot more welcoming (and less boring) to me! Would love to keep tuning in to something like this!
