I'm on the "save Caitlin" side for mostly narrative reasons. Besides wanting to keep the crew together, Frost already had her heroic death. She basically gave her life FOR Caitlin and the crew. Caitlin wanting her back is totally understandable but that's actually why you bring back Caitlin FIRST. Then the team can HONESTLY talk with each other about the scientific risks. Best case scenario, Caitlin can bring her sister back as if nothing happened and Frost can make adorable ice babies with Blaine. Worst case scenario, Caitlin has to grieve like a normal person and stop making secret labs like a supervillain.
I agree with bringing Caitlin back first. But I do not agree with putting up the decision of saving a family member’s life to a vote with anyone that isn’t biologically related. As much as I like Team Flash, Barry and the others do not have a say in Caitlin’s personal life or that of her personal life with her sister. What Barry did in destroying Caitlin’s research last season was wrong on all levels. He had no right to do that. He lost my respect because of that.
That's the problem. When people die, there are some who want to bring them back instead of moving on. You cannot resurrect the dead so Caitlin should have moved on and not tried to bring Frost back.
Nah, I fully agree with Barry and the team. This was a really unhealthy path that Caitlin and Blain were on. Caitlin began spiraling out pretty early on as did Blain to the point where she killer her self in the attemp to resurrect Frost only to bring about a new life thay may potentially have to sacrifice herself to "undo the damage". To make it worse Blain nearly got the only person potentially able to restore either or both back to life by not revealing what was probly a crucial bit of info when they were designing the tech they used...😵💫
I always thought Caitlin and Frost had Dissociative Identity disorder- they are two alters that lived in the same body. Frost was Caitlin's protector she had memories that Caitlin didn't have access too. Now they have fused to form Snow one complete person Or it is possible she is a separate alter all together. In DID there is often an amnesia barrier between alters to the extent they don't know others exist with frost and Caitlin gone. Snow would have come forward
I understand there’s only 13 episodes this season… in their FINAL season… but to kill off Caitlin, a legacy character within the show, off screen? And not even inform Cisco about it? That just rubbed me the wrong way - and thank God they addressed the elephant in the room when Team Flash was trying to decide who to bring back to life (Caitlin or Frost) by having Chester remind everybody that they didn’t “give up” on Frost… Frost “died”… in battle nonetheless. And yes, I know characters have died & been brought back to life multiple times, I get it. But this “new” version of Caitlin… Snow… she’s not a clone or duplicate, she’s a completely different person. I’m glad they atleast realized that it should be HER decision on if she wants to stay how she is, or use the machine again. All in all, it was a decent episode, and they progressed this storyline a bit more. But with only 13 episodes, and now 11 left, they really need to crack down on what they’re doing for the endgame.
I love how Mark tell the people of the Flash on how he can't trust them, especially Barry. Because it's true, if Barry had found out on what Caitlyn tried to do a second time, he would have stopped her again.

People be hating on Barry because he didn't agree with Caitlyn's plan and saying that he messed up the timeline so he has no right to disapprove of Caitlyn's plan....like bruh Barry has paid dearly for every mistake he has made, paid the price for saving humanity countless times so obviously he has suffered a lot and wouldn't want to see his friend in the same situation. While Mark wants to resurrect Frost, he only cared about Frost and not Caitlyn or the new personality. He is not wrong for wanting to save Frost but he is wrong for tricking team flash and Snow. If he was honest with them it would have been different. Barry also this time didn't make the choice himself, you can see he is tired of making choices like that as he has had to make the choice of life and death numerous times over the course of the show for his family, friends ,civilians and even villains.
I know people are frustrated with marc but barry would be acting the same way if it was iris he's been doing that the whole show so it's very hypocritical that barry isn't at least sympathetic cuz he knows marc loves frost
Barry had accepted that Iris was gone during last season's finale before she was brought back. There's a difference between "my wife is stuck on another dimension" and "my girlfriend died, we saw her die, and now I want to bring a copy of her without her memories"

Barry can sympathize but that's more akin to Artificial Speed Force Barry prioritizing saving Iris over Singh and Camila.

Notice by the end of the episode everyone got a happy ending with their love interests except Mark? I am team Mark in this Team Flash Civil War. Rathaway got his BF back and seconds later trashed the same machine that would have gotten Mark's love interest back. It might also do with THE MESSAGE but who knows what the writers were thinking. Man I am glad this show is ending soon cause the cringe for 9 seasons was unbearable. I guess Mark is the new Catelyn now with a lost loved one story line.
so basically Caitlin and Frost were one person. They got hit by a mirror, gun, and Caitlin and frost turn into two people. Time passes by and frost sacrifices her life to save everybody from this fire storm person. She ends up dying, and they have a funeral for her, but Kaitlyn it’s all said, and wants to bring her back so they create a machine to bring the cryogenic genes in her mind back, and hopefully create a new frost will bring the same prospect, but in a different body or something like that. That malfunctioned and then snow came out from the machine and after that I have no clue what’s going on. Maybe this new snow is trying to bring Caitlin back, but chilblain checked her into bringing prospect because he loves her not Caitlin.
I agree with Mark, Chillblaine. Barry has no right to be judge, jury, and executioner. He had no right to destroy Caitlin’s research into bringing her sister back. It’s not her sister. I will never agree with what Barry did in Caitlin’s apartment. He manipulated the timeline, over and over again, changed the past, the present, the future, and messed with other people’s lives for his own chance at self satisfaction. There’s nothing that he has done up till now that could justify him in forcing his will to prevent Caitlin from being able to save her family.

Didn’t iris die a couple episodes ago did he go back to the past and save her? He learned and it’s someone who have made the mistake before knows the consequences and warn someone else from making the same one. Barry tried to tell Caitlin she didn’t listen and see now both frost and cait gone
@luishane jones that's just my point several times in the series he's had ppl as pawns to save the love of his life and even had the entire universe gone because of his actions to save and have his perfect life but God forbid anyone who isn't him want the same thing then it's a problem and they can't do it noone is asking for another flash point because his actions affect the entire universe but bringing frost or Cait back won't harm anyone but those involved and if he got everyone on team flash to help him with iris is it not fair to ask the same for frost??? or is it only when it comes to iris does that apply???

I am team Mark in this Team Flash Civil War. Rathaway got his BF back and seconds later trashed the same machine that would have gotten Mark's love interest back.
It might also do with THE MESSAGE but who knows what the writers were thinking. Man I am glad this show is ending soon cause the cringe for 9 seasons was unbearable. I guess Mark is the new Catelyn now with a lost loved one story line.

so basically Caitlin and Frost were one person. They got hit by a mirror, gun, and Caitlin and frost turn into two people. Time passes by and frost sacrifices her life to save everybody from this fire storm person. She ends up dying, and they have a funeral for her, but Kaitlyn it’s all said, and wants to bring her back so they create a machine to bring the cryogenic genes in her mind back, and hopefully create a new frost will bring the same prospect, but in a different body or something like that. That malfunctioned and then snow came out from the machine and after that I have no clue what’s going on. Maybe this new snow is trying to bring Caitlin back, but chilblain checked her into bringing prospect because he loves her not Caitlin.

Barry has no right to be judge, jury, and executioner. He had no right to destroy Caitlin’s research into bringing her sister back. It’s not her sister.
I will never agree with what Barry did in Caitlin’s apartment. He manipulated the timeline, over and over again, changed the past, the present, the future, and messed with other people’s lives for his own chance at self satisfaction.
There’s nothing that he has done up till now that could justify him in forcing his will to prevent Caitlin from being able to save her family.
Man am I glad I stopped watching after season four. It looks like this show has really gone to pot.

Barry had no right to destroy Caitlin's appartment. It was wrong on so many levels. If didn't do that Caitlin would be alive and probably bring back frost with her first experiment. In the worst case it would be Frost without her memories. After all things Barry've done it's the least crazy thing to do.
