You know bassgill would’ve made you way stronger right…? You had a golden bream counter in hand and never got it on the board the entire game
Imagine passing up a bassgill and a golden bream when you have a choral with divine shield
Yea, passing golden bream is a dumb move for the bigger reason of IT FREES UP A SPACE IN HAND! When you're hand is going to get filled every turn, it's better to be getting an extra playable card.

Threw away triple bassgill with Reborn hero power while having a full hand of big and scam murlocs. Yeah... dont do that if you want to win.

On the very last turn, Kripp had Belcher + reborn. I think I would have kept and played it in place of Drakkari. Would make it possible for the weaker taunt murlocs to snipe the spawned Octosari minions or the horse
It is kinda stupid how little investment is needed for beasts. Even getting 2nd place with essentially unbuffed cards is just bad game design, a scam in all but name.
I am finally on the hating beast builds train, was always like meh it is what it is but when my beautiful build gor destroyed by a lucky beast player, I'm bloody fuming, it's basically a scam build! Hate beasts so much
The problem with beasts is banana and chicken. Beasts were a bit weak for a bit but they were fine. Its just chicken and slamma replace those cards and beasts are fine.
My favorite game this patch was when I managed to get a golden Baron, 2 golden motley, a golden tunnel trog and the tier 5 beast that triggers your death rattle (also golden) and proceeded to wreck a beast player 4 turns in a row because they had gone undefeated until they played me and the tunnel trog literally ruined their whole game plan. It felt so damn good.
What's pretty depressing to know that duels is going away considering that it has been revitalising some Hearthstone streamers with new types of content... So they are axing Duels... This means these streamers will have to go elsewhere to make content... That shit will just keep going... That means fewer players will find something to do in Hearthstone... I am definitely not returning lmao and I am not even a streamer... Stupid decisions from stupid companies...

Duels has always been mid imo. I wish it had been closer to their PvE content.
Matter of fact, i'd love to see them bring back PvE adventures.
It's not about what's fun or what's bad, it's about player counts and monetization. Duels costs money to operate. If player count is low and its not driving sales, then it is losing money. Regular constructed still makes money, so it's not going anywhere

Skipping the "change hero power" spell around 14:50 is asinine. Youre Omu on 6, you have no hero power. You have Brann murlocs, with a bunch of money making stuff. Just grab the fucking thing. Even if the plan is to eventually maybe get it for free from something, just grab it there jfc
Turning down Sporebat because Mangled Bandit might eat the spell instead of just selling the bandit is probably the worst play I've ever seen Kripp make, and I've been here since the arena days

Edit: the Divine Shield spell on Brann in the shop was probably the worst thing I've ever seen
Kripp pretty much wants to force the same build every time. That build being Brann + Rylakk + either Felemental or Jazzer, and end it exactly as he did, with Murkeye replacing Rylakk. I'm pretty sure that's why he wanted to keep the bandit (to generate gems) and was stacking bloodgems on a single minion, he even mentioned that he would rather lose the taunt spell than a bloodgem because the gem can be transferred with the battlecry 4-drop. And later he complains that he couldn't take Charlga and he would prefer to play quillboar instead but couldn't.
TLDR yes he is old and wants to force the same comfort builds every game, even if that means making losing plays😂
I started playing some BGs couple weeks ago, and this was hard to watch for me. He was the top arena player on the server multiple times. This is really not his strength I guess.
Divine shield on Brann was weird but can be somewhat justified. It was the least of the problems.
Also the videos seem kinda lazy, compared to back then. When he talked about a card it would show up on the side. Sometimes I have no idea what he's talking about, since I just started playing BGs, and don't often remember names of even regular cards.
@@Jauvajs he has been pretty open about the fact that he doesn't stream for money anymore so he just does what is fun for him. He streams BGs because he likes it, he plays meme off meta builds because he doesn't bother playing to win. I kinda respect it, he's a genuine boomer who is too old for this internet shit and is just having a good time whenever he streams or posts a video, not worried in the slightest about metrics and numbers and growth

Losing duels stinks. It especially sucks cause instead of dusting wild cards at the start of rotation, I've been keeping 1 copy. The amount of dust I could have had would have saved me a ton of money.
You could definitely still dust like 90% of cards. Most of them you can reasonably assume will never be in a good duels deck
@shanedancer3895 do you play duels? Things changed all the time..new expansion give old cards potential of play in duels
@@Coop_P alright maybe 90% was a bit extreme but most neutral cards just don’t have potential to be important so they can just be dusted
@shanedancer3895 for sure. I get that commons are fine to dust usually. I was talking more the epics and legendary that hold more value. I should have said that in the first place!!
@@Coop_P I don’t just mean commons there are definitely a lot of epics that are pretty terrible. You’re probably right about legendaries tho, at some point there would be something dumb to do with most of them
