  • The Buon Vino wine filter is getting a workout in my kitchen today! But there are so many horrible reviews online about this product. Is this filter really worth it?

    What a visible difference between the different levels of filtration! Very curious how that wine tastes now. A follow up video would be great.

    WaRRsh is so funny to my New Zealand ears (eas). We hardly say our (ow) Rs (ahhs) let alone add one. Car (caa), bar (baa), far (faa), shower (sho-a), hour (owa) 😅 Bring on an over (ovaa) flowing cup with our King and your Jamie! Shalom Zac

    Looks great, and I'm sure its taste 100% better without the taste of yeast. Keep working on it and you will be an expert. Shalom

      @Dave_en 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you keep the wine aside for a year and rack every three month in between, I'm sure you won't need filtering. Yeasty flavour diminishes over time.
      I have been using bread yeast and it tastes disgusting in the first few months. Afterwards it doesn't matter which yeast you used. Wine comes out nice.👍

    Going to run our new one on Friday of this week. We make pawpaw wine (white) and we always have a touch of sediment in stored bottles. Hopefully, this takes us to the next level. Thanks for the video.

    I love that filter. It's got a few tricks to keep it from leaking but it worked great on my peach wine that wouldn't clear. Don't use it on every wine. Just difficult wines

    I love my buon vino. I got mine used... with carboys and other stuff for $50. It works so good... but a tray under it is good. I have a berry mead and a blueberry wine I am going to be bottling this week. Yeah... and the cranberry wine too... right... and the strawberry mead and wine. :D Christmas should be spectacular. Lots of people want to be on my list.

    Will the color deepen with age? A Merlo is such a beautiful color for wine and of course, it tastes great with a steak.

    Very interesting way of making wine 🍷
    Have you asked an old Italian man how to make vino! 😂
    The fermentation process before you place in bottles is important.
    See Cuoredicioccolato on TH-cam it’s one way.
    Ciao!

    i used this product 2 times. once it worked great the next time i had a chemically tasting wine.not sure what happened but i had 4 car boys ruined due to what i be leaved to be contaminated pads.2 honey meads and two wines. the company wouldnt say anything after there first email. my reply was ignored or forgotten about. so be careful about filtering and taste your product at many stages to ensure nothing is up.and taste during filtration!

    The machine is absolute junk. They have a very bad tendency to not pump after a few years. It's as though the motor becomes weak and they don't want to pull wine from the carboy. I see you've got the updated one with a different pump so yours might be okay in the future, but mine is crap!
