I watched a video where a landscaper got rid of weeds by using a hand held vacuum to vacuum the seed head's every year. It was something I had never heard of before
@@Rumkitty2000 I grew up on a goat farm in California. Although goats eat a lot of weeds, they don't eat all weeds. Goats like the flowers and seeds more than the weeds and that's what keeps some weeds under control with goats. Weeds that spread through their roots and tubers will be unaffected by goats. Also the weeds shown goats just don't like the taste of. He either has to pull them by hand or poison them
@@johnking8679 Oh, I took that as just a routine appointment based on how Daniel said it. Since school is starting and she's an athlete, wouldn't surprise me at all if it's just her annual sports physical.
Daniel, I have family that are retired ground’s keepers and they always say to plant your grasses Thanksgiving time and don’t mess with it until summer.
Love the fishing Dan !!! The sound of the water is so comforting & soothing !!! Almost like at the cabin taking a snooze while others are fishing outside !!! Now for the Loons to be callings !!!
About your ad.... the paster (well not anymore) at the church my ex husband's family goes to in Alabama. He was doing that! Not just renting houses... but he would sell the lands AND build these massive houses on the land for people and when the owners found out.. he went to prison and the people lost their houses and the land because it belonged to someone else. It was wild!
I was carrying my second son in 1973. We were at Destin Beach wading in the water. No Jellyfish. I had my 3 year hand. Gave birth Jan. 74. Memory Lane! 💞🇺🇸💞
We never had any issues in June. We, my mama, sister, brother and grandparents started going back in the mid 60’s. Always went to Destin plus same beach. Never had jelly bellies 😂 When JAWS CAME OUT mama went no further than her ankles! She skied in that water, back in the 50’s! So much fun 🤩 Thank you Daniel for waking up memories. Today I am 73. I’m 72 in my avatar ❤
A friend's sister was applying for a job in Daytona. I drove the 2 sisters there. The older sister got the job. They were both blind but wanted to go to the beach. I had one on each arm. We were wading in the shallows. I told them if I saw danger I wouldn't take time to explain. The just needed to trust me and do what I said. I emphatically said "Left, left, left!" They hesitated so I yelled to the beach goers she were wading "JELLYFISH ALERT. Get out of the water. People were running. I was pulling on the larger sister and told her " They really sting if they touch you. Move it!" I never took them to the beach again. She got the job.
Last year was one of the worst droughts in many many years that killed a lot of trees if you remember that a lot of them may not have noticed until this year
I get a kick out of seeing Kelsey in the water! She is such a hunter, even trying to catch fish! The sound of the waterfall is so relaxing. You are blessed to enjoy it on your own property with Houston!
I just love watching Kelcie have fun fishing!! She is a beautiful dog. All your dogs are awesome and have the best life! I really enjoy your channel!! ❤
I can't imagine e that many trees on one acre of property. We have 13 on 3/4 of an acre & the upkeep is constant. We actually have a couple that should probably come down.
LOVE THE FISH THAT HOUSTON AND EMILY COUGHT GLAD THEY WERE ABLE TO GO FISHING SO THEY COULD SPEND TIME WITH THERE DAD ON YOUR BIRTHDAY ANYWAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOPE IT WAS AND AWESOME ONE
I was wondering if the drought was the cause of Daniel's trees dying. The oaks in California have extremely deep tap roots to help them cope with the yearly drought, but I'm not sure the oaks in Oklahoma do. On a side note, the creek looks wonderful, at least below the dam. Nice clean, clear water.
Just about a perfect video, you're feeding up, a little bit of using your heavy machinery and then fishing in the creek with Houston and the dogs,!!! Just doesn't get any better than that😅😂. Enjoy your blessed day XXXO 💕😁
Sheepishly Me channel mentioned you on one of their segments. They’re building a large warehouse and part of it will offices and merch. Sandi said someone check y’all out for ideas. I enjoy watching both of you!
Well I have to say that this video made me smile. Finally I smiled. I have just had the move from hell. I moved from one place to another and it was horrible. Maybe because I am older but it has done me in! I am still living in a mess! But I have only been in 5 days now. Anyway, this video has been so refreshing and with the way you talk with the animals and how you have named them. I just loved it. Thank you for cheering me up and making me feel more human and not a robot. Hugs from Alberta 🇨🇦
Are you ever going to get Charlie a friend to play with?? My wife's cousin's had emus and lamas and horses on his mini farm in Maryland it was cool to wake uP every morning with the hOrses checking us out in our camper.
You mentioned a couple of times about spraying some weeds, and that you expect some people to take issues with that. There is an economical weed killing DIY recipe that has been shown to be safe for people, pets, livestock, and wildlife, (that I have used successfully.} With heat and sunlight, i have seen noticeable results starting within 4 hours after application. 1 gallon white vinegar. 1 cup table salt 1 - 2 tablespoons of liquid dish soap. Mix well, and shake before spraying, I live in the mountains of Colorado, and have seen deer eating treated weeds without any adverse effects. Hope this helps. God Bless
I don’t have issues with spraying herbicides. The issue comes when farmers use it and then compost it and try to sell that compost to gardeners. It passes through the animals unchanged and then contaminates the soil so beans, peppers and tomatoes don’t grow normally.
Hi Daniel and Family. Great video. Glad yall had a great vacation and made it home safely. Isaac is getting old but is still magnificent. You do a great job with rotation of the pastures. Love watching yall fishing at the creek. God bless and love yall ❤❤
Arms family, we always enjoy all of your videos. Thanks for keeping them interesting. A video with such a loving family is always great. God bless you all. 💕🌺

And yahoo Daniel out fished the great fisherman, Houston. I know it happens once in a while! I love your video's😍😍🤗🤗💞💞💙💙Thank you
Another great video, boys!❤! School is about to start back! I’m going to miss these fishing excursions! Won’t be long until hunting season though! I love watching y’all together! The girls are just sticks in the mud, I reckon, because I would be fishing and hunting with y’all!😅 I’m a fan of Do Your Best as well, I love Dejay, she’s a beautiful girl! I say girl, because I am old enough to be her and your Mama, Daniel! I enjoy watching y’all both! I hope everyone is doing well! Lots of prayers for y’all! Love and blessings from this old Bama girl!❤❤❤
An off-the-wall comment. It may be time to consider another (additional) livestock guardian dog. Bear is starting to get some age on him. Love your videos!
Baker is so different from other babies. It has happened to ppl. They come home to someone living in their house. Lol, Houston can't catch a fish to save my life. I do, Bear; he is a big boy. Kelce cracks me up the way she is in the creek. Stay safe & take care of you all. Thanks for sharing, eh :))
It’s good to see you home. I love when you show the animals. Your Turkey is so pretty! So it sounds like you are planning for more baby donkeys . It’s nice they stay close to the house . Nice green grass.

Good to see the critters are all good. I'll bet those dogs all went nuts when their people came back home. God bless you folks in what you're doing.
Doing chores, taking a break so watching this video. I want to jump in that pond as I'm hot and sweaty. It looks so refreshing. Thanks Daniel.
When do you see yourself getting another guardian dog as Bear is getting up there in age.
