This actually helped me so much. I could not figure out for the life of me how people could cross up with Omni Man. Turns out it was LB/L2. But not just that but some good ideas for stance. I ironically picked Sonya for him too as she seems to be perfect for him. I saw someone else use Scorpion too so that's great. Thanks again Onestep.

I like this character so far. good damage and combos. you forgot mentioning the teleport using forward r2 in stance which is pretty good to deceive the opponent thinking it's stance 2 then shimmy, it also closes the gap quick.
Omniman was my main the moment he was announced! I’ve been labbing him today and so far I’ve managed a one meter 38% combo (no cameo). I appreciate the tip regarding Sonya; now I might have a cameo that’ll allow me to push that combo into the 40 percent bracket! Thanks!

@onestep did they change Omni Man's control scheme? I was watching my bro play now it doesnt look like there are any simple directional inputs, rather its all arcade swivel motion and we don't think we changed anything in the settings either.

Well after the first air dash, the rest of the air dashes cost 1 meter. So if you dash twice it’s one meter and if you dash 3 times it’ll cost 2 meters

Hey thanks for the support! So “cancel” just means “to go into” so when I say cancel 1 into BF1 it just means do 1 then press BF1 and the move will connect as a true combo. Hope this helps!

yo I love playing omni man and have done alot of combos but its really hard to do any real damage when my backhand is so slow and punishing and my opponent just holds down the block button and falls asleep, any tips to get them open?
So “cancel” just means “go into” so when I say B1 cancels into the DB3 special it just means that the B1 can “go into” DB3 as a true combo. No interruption
If you implemented your inputs on the left side itd be really helpful to understand the universal language more but if you have it off for a reason then dont mind me
Omni man has a air dash which hits the enemy, you do it by holding forward and pressing LT. if you do it once then it doesn’t use a meter, if you do it twice or more it uses a meter every time you do it
@@onestep he wouldn’t unlock , you couldn’t load him from the store like usual either , he just had that plus sign over him all day , seems mostly people w/PS5s had the issue , there is a big Reddit thread about it , so I deleted the game , restarted the PS5 then loaded the game again , did that twice and then about an hour after it had been completely uploaded he became playable so technically I didn’t get access to him until 11/10 , pretty frustrating

I think mortal Kombat 1 is def worth it because it’s just going to be getting better and better, so it’s a great time to jump in. And Omni man is worth it if you want a personal favorite character. He’s pretty beginner friendly but can do some devastating stuff when used right. I love playing as him tbh

Using kameos like scorpion, Kung lao, and Stryker give you some good mix up options.

It can be hard especially after a long combo, I learned to take it slower and it usually works on the timing
