- First introduced in 1949, this is the gun that saved Sheridan. In that year, 401 of these guns were produced...however, I personally believe there are many more made in 1950, before the stocks were changed to a different profile.
A unique gun that is a desirable addition to any Sheridan collection.
I picked up a 1957 blue streak at a flea market for $10. It was a rat that had been leaning against a barn wall in Kentucky for 60+ years.
The rear sight was missing and it needed a seal kit, but it is now in perfect working order. It is the 4th Sheridan I now own and the first
Thumb hold down safety I have encountered. They are great little air guns. They can almost always be brought back to working condition.
Bought a Sheridan Silver Streak circa 1980-81 (not certain of year). It is in 5mm. Cannot find those pellet/slugs. Thing still shoots, but, may have greatly reduced power. Doesn't bark at squirrels with authority ISTR from early days.
Mike thanks for this video. Your youtube channel is great and know that I will enjoy the videos to come.
There is one in the Netherlands, as far as I know, and it's mine. For me it is very rare because I have not seen anyone in the Netherlands with this one.
Shooting with this Sheridan Silverstreak slabstock gives a special feeling.
Knowing that it is the first release after the A and the B model. You must have these in the Sheridan collection.
