I really had doubts about how that speaker system was gonna be salvaged, repaired and revived. But you found a way to rebuild it and got it functional and going on full power again. Great job 👍🏻🔊🎶

Usually heat from a fire will ruin a magnet and take away its magnetism so not sure how you got around that. unless you used a different magnet but that looked like the original one.
Exactly what I was thinking too. Even if there some magnetism left on the magnet that would not be strong as it was. Better he use a new magnet or re-magnetised the old one.
You did a good job about speakers itself, but I think this is not JBL speakers. Everything you did about making speaker box is wrong: how many liters (volume) that bass speaker requires? What is the ratio between height, width, depth? Should be 10-6-5. What is the distance between speakers: bass/midrange and midrange/tweeter. It depends on crossover frequency, at what frequency crossover cuts bass/midrange and midrange/tweeter tones. About inside of the box: you have to make the box stop making resonance (because this is not violin or guitar, because they make sound by resonating, but the speaker box not). This can be made by spreading some kind of coal tar or something similar on the walls inside. After that you have to fill the box with recycled wool or so called “reclaimed wool” or “shoddy wool.” This will stop resonating of the box. And at the end, if your speakers is really JBL, don't you think it's a shame to wrap the box with plastic? Hope those advices are useful.
Hey. The next time you will make a speaker system from scratch, use my tips. And also you can modify this speaker system. On the inside, glue all the walls with thick sound-absorbing material, this will dampen the resonances of the case. Put a large roll of sound-absorbing material inside the case, this will improve low frequencies. Between the speakers and the housing, use additional rubber gaskets, as well as the gasket must be used to secure the terminal(but not sealant, otherwise you will not be able to disassemble it later). Place the mid-range speaker in an additional enclosed box and fill it with sound-absorbing material. And most importantly - correctly calculate the bass reflex(phase inverter)!!! The one shown in the video is very small for such a case and a woofer !!! Phase inverter calculation formulas can be found on the Internet and in the technical literature. You are a great fellow, as you are engaged in creative and socially useful work.
I'm guessing they ran into money or parts issues. I have two classic vehicles myself and they're both money and time pits. Keeping a classic car going is tough sometimes, but restoring one in as poor of a condition as theirs was is even tougher. What makes their restoration even more challenging is the car is of unibody construction, not like classic American cars with body on frame. Unibody vehicles are much harder to restore because the body itself is the structure of the car, if it is compromised, the car can snap in half. With body on frame, as long as the frame is good, the body can be in pretty bad shape before it becomes a major issue. With all of the cancerous rust that I saw on their car, it needs some significant welding and patching work before anything else can be done on the car. Doing the work later is not an option since the bad areas are covered up.
I have restored one that I found in the middle of the ashes of a bonfire, there were only the ashes, but with my super nose, I was able to separate the ashes of the amplifier from the others, then, a small piece at a time, I put it back together, and now it works !!!! Maybe tomorrow I'll make a video too .... First I burn another one ....

@@OmegaHellHound543 Yeah but the dimensions are wrong. There’s no sound deadening material in the box so it’s going to resonate. A speaker isn’t just good because it has good drivers. Everything about the enclosure makes those drivers sound the way they do together.
look like you made up a story that you found damage goods and restore it back to the same condition. nobody take a camera and recording exact moment they find something.

When I started the clip, I was like there is no way, you can restore the speakers. Amazing. Not sure about the sound quality though.
they technically didn't, they completely rebuilt them. . .and that is NOT a restoration

Lol who burns the goods

It's a vented box
The midrange speaker he is using is a sealed enclosed type so it does not need a separate box.

Nice repair
Bro you're from❤❤
The midrange and tweeter buy new one 😉
The woofer is easily to repair in the diameter.
The wood work is good
Quá đẹp
So someone randomly out of no where decided to set a speaker on fire? So dam fake!!!!
making this more extreme lol
It's in Vietnam.. They set fire to trash along the roads and railroad tracks..
And on today's episode of How it's made......
What is that glue?
CA glue probably
Your replacing jbl with budget cone.

Please tell me the sheet you used for covering thata wooden box ..what is the name of thata sheet broo tell me

Impressive, but i hope you dont pass that off as an actual JBL w/ factory spec
The parts were probably made by JBL

@@djsd-1292 I know that. I was talking about the drivers lol. Yeah I bet that box sounds terrible
@@OmegaHellHound543 damn I’m the internet loser. yeah they were probably the ones who burned it to begin with lol
He just happens to be in the area where the fire is typical fake setup as usual
They do that in Vietnam...
It is obvious you burned it yourself 🙈 And nothing in that speaker from JBL was it jbl in first place 🧐 apart of that was interesting to watch.
Dang
bass 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊
Super revelations
why did you switch the mid driver out to the one with the round edge?
What name of the circuit used under in speaker
It is called a crossover, this speaker has a 3-way crossover. If it only a woofer and a tweeter, then it a 2-way crossover
Did you burn it to make it more interesting? Cuz it’s looks like that!
Of course this is all on purpose...
Oh yeah! ...sure man..what do you think?
