Because Taiwan 's officer name is ROC , the name is Republic of China, established in 1911, was one of the country alliances with the USA in World war 2 , it is the first Republic country in Asia, nowadays China, was a rebel in China , they started the civil war after World war 2 , after 8 years fighting with Japan empire , the ROC government in China was ran out the steam, and the communist rebel overturned the government, and ROC government flee to the island of Taiwan , and still hold some small islands close to China , and it is still keep the republic system and in China, the communist rebel changed the name as " people republic of China" in 1949, so Taiwan is actually rule by the previous China government who get beat by the rebel communist, and People republic of China also replace ROC in the UN, and most of the countries in the world also recognized the communist China is the official China government, however Taiwan is still under the government who was founded in 1911 from China called Rebulic of China

You also need to let the world know how many battles did the troops of ROC win and loss in WWII. You need to tell how many troops of each other left after WWII.
