This is so cool to go back and watch how these guys got their start. They didn't know it back then when they made this video but what they became... wow. The world went crazy over all of Disney's products, Marvel, Star Wars, and all their animation but Disney didn't see these guys coming. They started on TH-cam and ended up bankrupting Dis... Wait.. what year is this? Oh, no. I've said too much.
"I'm looking without perceiving" The ultimate ADHD summary. This was really cool! There is SO much into WorldAnvil, and a lot more that you can do with it than I realized! I had the Sunder one pinned for the entirety of knowing about it through Ironspire to keep track with theories and make sure my information was correct, and now the Reboot one has taken its place! Its a unique way to showcase some of the love that's been put into the series! The ULTIMATE DM / Narrator screen!
This is such a great video. Thanks guys for making it. I'm trying to get into RPG stuff with Cogent but whenever I try to go figure out a scenario I get stuck. Thanks for some of the things you show us how to do in this, both with World Anvil but also just procedurally with whatever it is we're doing
Thank you for this video - indeed it was overwhelming checking it out, searching TH-cam for World Anvil reviews and tutorials for "beginners" videos I found so little and the stuff I found was lacking - this video is making me lean towards World Anvil. Kudos to you. I still wish there was a *true* from scratch video out there, that is: from logging in as completely new - to building the first parts of a "world" for a TTRPG - like do I start with world name, or a city? First articles, etc. Maybe you two would consider making something more detailed? Basically what happens at minute 13 on, but like a series of videos, much longer and more step-by-step. Anyhow, thanks again. If I end up going all in on World Anvil, will be because of this video. 👏👏👏

I've been using this for keeping track of the fantasy sci-fi books I'm writing called Swords & Stars. This software doesn't just have to be for games. It's been invaluable for keeping all my characters, places, and timeline straight so I don't end up with plot holes or contradicting character traits. I prefer to hand draw my maps but the rest of it I use.
I'm 99.9% sure this wasn't you responding to my request for a GM tips video BUT it's pretty bloody good either way 😄 Keep this kind of stuff coming please! 😊
So much work it’s amazing will be interesting to see where you choose for the wild clubs. Sydney Rd perhaps and that gets you the Mafia as well! I am sure they will have survived ha ha
is there a tool or icon im missing to try and find the "meta world" function or were you just filling out suggested prompts in notes? Before i work on my time lines id like to use the "world meta" to flush out and filter out ideas goals and themes i want to explore in my new campaign, i appreciate any help finding it!
This will be great! If only one could run one's TTRPG sessions through World Anvil as well. Still trying to figure that one out, though I've watched a couple from TTT, and it seems they just use Zoom. Zoom plus a shared online Dice Roller, that should be all you need, right?
World Anvil is terrible. I do not understand why anyone bothers with it. The software is a slog to try and learn and understand and the devs and support group is slow and unhelpful when they do respond. I worked with it for a couple of months, tried to get a refund less than an hour after I purchased it and was flatly denied, so I doubled down and tried to make it work for me. Countless hours of my life that I will never get back and I have nothing useable to show for it. I have not found a better option, but stay away from World Anvil, they are terrible.

world anvil is a really good resource also to help theory crafting, it was really fun in ironspire to look for breadcrumbs
