    Hi there! Would you say it's safe to hike Gunung Pulai alone as a female traveller?

    • @melmelexplores
      @melmelexplores  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey 👋 I’d say yes if you’re going via the tarmac route because there would be quite a lot of people doing the same hike as you in the day 😇 stay safe!

    Thanks for sharing your trip. Can advise: Where do you take the bus from Johor Sentral and how much does that cost? Where to alight and how far from the Gunung?

      Hello! Are you from singapore? If so you can join “Singapore Hikers” on FB. There are several groups that organise day hikes to Gunung Pulai on Saturdays! I joined Ihike group to go, so they catered bus from Marsiling/woodlands MRT to customs, then from customs directly to the place! Hope it helps :) otherwise if you’re intending to do the tarmac route on your own, I think it’s best you get a grab from JB Sentral and make plans for the driver to return to fetch u when you’re done! Hope it helps! ☺️

      Hi I went with a Facebook hiking group so they arranged a bus for us. But otherwise I believe you can just grab there, then make arrangement with the driver to pick you up after you come down. It may be a bit hard to get a grab from there.

    • @melmelexplores
      @melmelexplores  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, yes we needed permits prior to going! But not sure how the situation is now, probably better for you to check again!
