In this Excel video tutorial I demonstrate how to lookup a date in multiple dates ranges and return an associated value. In my example, I have percentage rates that relate to date ranges. I want to be able to pick a date and find out which rate applies. How you achieve this very much depends on the layout of the lookup table of rates.

My god, you have saved my nerve with the Filter formula, Thanks! The side effect of it - you will see if you have date duplicates or crossing dates in the array.
Excellent turorial Chester. Thank you!!!
Very useful Chester, thank you
i worked with "if and" before , this way cut the formula by 2/3s. thanks fella!
Awesome 🤩 does take a little bit to “calculate”
For the older version, could you also do an If And statemet?
Can u use the same reasoning if u want to apply this to DAX?
