I was stuck on the 2nd mission of the Decepticon Chapter 1 (SOCCENT Military Base) for years. I always ran out of time, can’t remember if I was doing anything wrong exactly, and finished the Autobot campaign too. Randomly came back to it when I was around 11-12 maybe and finished it easily, then finished the rest of the Decepticon campaign too.
Inside the Hover dam was the furthest i got on the Autobots story and i think i got stuck on a mission in new york trying to take down the tank tranformer during the Decepticon story
Hollio Mariano not technically a free roam game but it was the closest thing to one. I just hated freaking iron hide, and I sucked with the first jazz mission
Compared to the other transformer games this is more free roam than it gets, since you can decide to do some random shit or do missions, unlike the 2nd and 3rd game where you can't interact with the world but do missions
Ahappyteddybear eh, would be cool if it did. They can make the controls better, improve the graphics, and even add in changeable character skins by making them look like G1 characters and or other gens. Still a dope game though
Y’know what would be the literal best Christmas present ever? If you played all of the other Transformers games. Revenge of the Fallen, Dark of the Moon, War for Cybertron, and Fall of Cybertron. Keep up the good work!
i used to just drive around as bumblebee, i never played much story as a kid, i just liked driving around as bee and not killing deceptions, it would get boring but the transformation animation on bee made me feel cool🤣
Nice! I used to be afraid of the Decepticons as Bumblebee, especially Barricade, but as I grew older and decided to face my fears I defeated all of the and helped the Autobots get to victory😅

Ah this game. Probably the enjoyable ones I played. Man the memories of dying to the Ironhide boss lol. I would say Starscream and Blackout boss but honestly, the Ironhide boss is much tougher
@@Foreignwrists well Ironhide's blast pretty much took away a chunk of Blackout's health and he can shoot even if you're in a slightest range. Makes defeating his minions hard, especially if they're in Ironhide's range
Jimb0 I was 1 in 2007 😂 but this game gives me good memories. I only made it to the bumblebee mission where he was trapped in that place in autobot campaign, and only made it to the starscream mission in decepticon campaign.
I just love Jazz on this game. Actually, the game is pretty cool in general, but Jazz was always my favorite, and his first mission was a real pain in the a*s in the first 50 tries lol, but he is (for me) the most fun Autobot to play.
Using Optimus in this game is literally the funniest thing I have done in any of these games it’s honestly legendary and too have that relaxing “you win” kind of theme play in the background is just legendary too me
Bro, this game runs like a BEAST on modern hardware!!! Back on PS2 and Wii, the game ran at low FPS, the resolution was bad, etc. Now on modern PCs, things are more clear in resolution, you got smooth animations (60FPS) and it just runs so better
Man, I remember how much more enjoyable this was compared to the movie. What a difference it made when we actually saw the Decepticons talking and discussing things, instead of wasting too much time on the human characters, most of whom ultimately didn't matter.
I had this game on the PS2 when it came out and it absolutely blew my mind at the time how detailed the character models were and the level of destruction and interactivity. Imagine what they could do nowadays with a transformers game if they put their heart and soul into it and made a game just like this? Oof.

Like many people have said in this comment section, I have played this game on Wii as a kid. The hardest part for me was when you play as "remodeled" Bumblebee in the Hoover Dam and you are waiting for the Allspark to shrink and then Megatron's arm cannon becomes free and he starts shooting at you. Plus there are those drones shooting at you and they rarely release a health heart upon their deaths. I also never unlocked all of the collectibles or played and beat all of the side missions or completed all of the stunts. Today was my b-day and I've been trying to find this game again so I could play it to 100% completion but where I'm from it doesn't exist.
Imagine if in the transformers world, some weapon is made that backfires and unknown to the inhabitants, cause the timeline to be split into 2 timelines. One where peace is achieved, and the other the war escalates into incomprehensible levels of death and carnage? That be interesting yes? They *do* have the tech for such a thing...intentional or not
