so in wot in order to mark a tank u need to have more average experience per battle than 65% of the players in this tank for 1 mark to be better than 85% of playerbase for 2 marks and 95% for 3 marks. Now when this guy used to play the chieftain the average experience earned was much higher for most players, therefore it was more difficult to mark this tank. However, while time went by the average experience of most players dropped quite a bit making it almost that his older exp earned per battle was already good enough. However, the exp of the rest of the players does not update for the marks of ur tank unless u play a game. Therefore his mark % used to be at 89% but that was 4 months ago. Today the % is better than around 93-95% of players. After playing a game, he updates the % and the game realises he should get a 3rd mark. By this u can pre much understand that u marking the tank depends not only on ur skill but also on that of the players playing that tank. That's also why some tanks are more difficult to mark than others, because the playerbase is more skilled (for example the chieftain) or the tank is very easy for all players so they do well every game(fv4005)
you are almost right, xp if for mastery badges ( mastery badges are rated on all players performance on a tank in the 7 days across the server ) where as MoE are rated with players total damage and assistance whether tracking or spotting which ever is higher per battle over their last 100 battles@@gnomewastaken6533

i don’t really understand how you got 6% in one game, you explained it but it doesn’t really make sense to me
he was playing this tank when 3 mark required 6,4k dpg and now when you need less damage the mark percentage adjusted to his dpg
