    Alyn, I definitely think you both took the less trodden route to get those beautiful views from Sawel😊 Had to look up your starting point as couldn't quite figure it out. The Sperrins are a special range of hills, partly because of their spread as you say, and even that wet and bog has its benefits such as the bugs and plants. The sheep still play an enormous part in the landscape and it will be interesting as farm payments change to see what impact it will have on upland areas such as this.

      Ha ha ha ha Gerry! I mean, the guy at the concrete works threw down the challenge, how could we resist? But my word it was tough.
      I kind of looked down my nose at the Sperrins having walked our beautiful Mournes but even on that wet, cloudy day we were treated to such a wealth of stuff I need to go and explore more.
      Youre spot on about the farming challenges ahead. Sheep farming is tough enough as it is but its about to become harder still. Was a tough but a blessing of a walk.
