Don't worry! Driving is a skill that you definitely have to practice, but once you've been doing it for a while, you'll become more confident and it'll be easy!

Dude same. I start my first drive tomorrow for my driving school. I'm nervous but both my parents told me to relax and the instructor will help understand.

Being nervous is a good thing. It means you will be extra cautious which is more than I can say for most people I see driving (not using turn signals) -_-

@@existing-is-pain ive gotten like 20 hours of driving but only at night cause thats the only time my sister can teache me but my state unfortunately had a lot of bad drivers and drunk drivers so its scary because sometimes it wont even be ur fault but im barely going out on the main roads i still avoid the biggest mainstreet hopefully going to take my learners permit in february
At my school, there was a girl who had the right of way walking across the street and a truck ran out and hit and killed her. This was a very tragic and terrible thing, and we (the school) wanted to do something about it. We created something called "Stop Take Notice". It increases awareness about pedestrian safety.
Please, PLEASE, if you are driving a car, be safe and watch out for pedestrians.

Don't be scared! Driving just takes a lot of practice, but it'll eventually get really easy! I've only been driving for about 2 years, but it feels like I've been driving my whole life!

When you have social anxiety, so you learn how to drive before you actually learn how to drive so you don't mess up and make a fool out of yourself✌️
I've been teaching my wife how to drive. I've heard this is a recipe for marriage disaster. Initially, I had little patience, however, I have learned alot about patience.

Dirty clothes in, soap in, turn on, wait, clean wet clothes out.
That's it.
Put dirty clothes in. Find where the detergent goes, it's usually a little drawer in the top. Pour detergent in according to instructions on jug. Choose temperature and cycle. Permanent press/warm is good for most things. Press start. Wait. Put clean clothes in dryer.
You don't need to sort colours unless your item is brand new and dyed very heavily, like dark jeans, then they will bleed. You should hand wash those until they don't bleed anymore. If you want to bleach whites you do need to separate them. If you only have a few whites to bleach just hand wash them with bleach and detergent in the sink or tub. You only need like a capful of bleach.

When I was first learning to drive I was going to step on the gas pedal, and for some reason I believed that stepping on the gas about halfway down would JUST make the car go a little bit. I did that and I flew forward and to prevent myself from crashing into the building in front of me I slammed on the brakes and did exactly what Rachel demonstrated. Have fun driving!!!!!!

Anyone got advice or tips when taking the drivers test??
For the permit test:
1. read the drivers hand book ( you can get it at the DMV)
2. Take an online permit test
For the road skills test:
1. Take your permit and proof of insurance to the dmv
2. Stop ALL the way
3. When you check your mirrors move your head not just you eyes
4. Use your turn signals
5. Yeld to pedestrians
6. If it's over cast turn on your head lights
7. Don't change lanes until your driving instructor tells you too
8. Stop at yellow lights.

Well, for the driven test you need to bring a car to drive. You need proof of insurance of the car you are going to drive. Not necessarily from your car.

It's 1:30am and it's windy, I hear things rolling around in the road, my dog is making weird grunting/whimpering noises and my sisters door is shaking and making lots of noise... I can sleep so I distracted myself with Rachel's educating skills on things I'll never remember when I am legally allowed to drive

This is the best basic driver's training ever.
Consuming as much information on driving as I can before I take the written test. I’ve had a lot of this pounded into my head since I was little lol. Especially “Use your blinkers!”
Rachel, you're so awesome for doing this new Sunday segment, I love it! I would also add - when driving, and traffic is really backed up, keep the intersection clear. Even if it's green, you don't want to get stuck waiting in the intersection for the car in front of you to move farther down the road and have the light turn red and then nobody can go because you're in the way. :P
