Nestor Makhno: The Father of Common Folk and Ukraine's True Anarchist

Nestor Makhno has been overlooked in history of Ukraine and USSR often portrayed as dumb bandit seeking his own interest, however, despite this labelling he still remained quite a mysterious almost mythological figure, so in this video I wanted to share his story with you, based on his memoirs and articles about his life.

Nestor Makhno is a very ambiguous person; was close to the power of the majority and moved away from it, believing that his main calling was to protect the poor people. He had his own truth, his own outlook on life, so Makhno will remain in history as truthful and courageous for his followers, and

I think that the catastrophic end of Makhno's Ukrainian history, after all, was natural. The lack of education and experience of him and his partners did not allow them to retain power and build a fair Ukrainian society.
