Shot mostly in one week, this video is meant to show off some of the most iconic locations around downtown Toronto.

I love this city. It's not without some problems but whenever I return I get a warm fuzzy feeling. A friend visited from Philadelphia and said she feels like she's at home here. Another guy I met from Africa moved for a better life for his young daughter. First to Germany they didn't like it then to US then to Canada. He asked his daughter should we stay? She said this is home daddy. He was so relieved because he wanted to stay as well. I think that's one of it's best characteristics - it's inclusiveness. Centre Island is my favourite place in the city. Winters are cold but make you gain an appreciation for the outdoors when summer comes. The city is beautiful but then up north you have the best backyard in the world. Crystal clear lakes all to yourself.

Toronto was the first place I lived in after I immigrated. It was beautiful, sadly I had to leave it as I found a job somewhere else. Maybe when I have 4 million dollars to buy a small apartment there I will come back xD

@@CertifiedSir It is expensive, I exaggerated the price here but it still is expensive. Renting a tiny tiny apartment downtown is 2000 cad a month, meanwhile as a new immigrant your salary will be about 3400 cad a month? So you will be only surviving without progress in a small house. Basically a typical apartment is a bedroom that fits one medium bed only (forget getting a sofa or anything like that) the bathroom is just big enough to for the toilet seat and shower(which is fine) and the kitchen is just the sink to wash, no room for a table. It was expensive. But it is a beautiful city.
A beautiful home like the ones you see on TV that I really want to live in are like 4000 cad a month to rent.

My favorite country
I only arrived here 3 years ago today. At the time, this video only gave me hope and ambition but today, I can call Toronto home. And now I recognize almost all of the places filmed. This should be a tribute to all Torontonians for a safe and beautiful home they all have helped create and share.

Wow. Toronto literally reminds me of Chicago. It's not as big but it definitely mirrors it and it's close from the architectural layouts to the waterfronts. But it's alot safer so I might give it the edge because of that.lol.
