In northeast our coyote dont move much in daylight easily so i went to ar for the fit with thermal scope. Ive never had missfire. Do wish i went with ar10 in 243 instead of 15 in .556. It works but there have been nights i wish i had the old crowbar barreled 22-250 for one that hangs up 400 yards out.
Bear creek? What caliber? I had an 18inch bear creek 6.5 creedmoor that acted the exact same way! Had to get rid of it! I couldn't ever tune out the malfunctions.
I lost interest when I heard "clips". Most guys around here that call them clips cant get them to run either. I'd take mine to the field any moment knowing it's going to run, because I keep it maintained. Ive busted runners while bolt guys are trying to reload. To each their own but $600 AR's run just fine if you do your part.
One shot is all you need unless you use an AR, then you need a 20 round magazine for follow up shots. Never needed to tune my bolt rifles or clean them after every hunt either. But I can't use the AR excuse for missing, so I guess I'm behind the curve.
I have never had an AR-15 malfunction like that. I was a Police Officer and not a Highway Patrolman though.
Never had an AR malfunction either, because I don't use one.

Get rid of the suppressor and let run like it was designed to
Ar does the job with twice as many parts and a box of specialty tools.
Needs to be cleaned. Rookie mistake
Probably needs a good cleaning!
