My Pop owned a Pub in West Palm Bch Fl. back in the late 50's and 60's I was sipp'in suds and bang'in back brown and put'in my ear to the Rovers ...Long live the Irish!!
The wood fire are sad to seen them go. They where so relaxing, I sat by them many times. A bush party with a big fire going, if you got to drunk you just sat there looking at the fire, 🤣🤣🤣
How on earth did that pint remain in tact when they’re arguing over it??!! 😂😂. Just discovered the Irish Rovers by accident- one of the best ‘accidents’ I’ve ever had! 😁😁
Is it just me or does anyone love Will's wink with the side of his lips tilted upwards at the "Er" at the end of "Sober" each time they get to that word in the song towards the end? XD
Fantastic! Exceptionally rare footage of Wilcil McDowell singing....I can remember never seeing him sing in concerts or on TV, until now. @tomcorwin: I can't see the lable close enough to tell if it's Guiness. I agree with you though, Guinness should NEVER be drunk from a bottle, only from the tap. Bottled Guinness tends to be brewed under license by another brewer (eg. Labatt's) & doesn't taste nearly the same.
@MaxBenitez83 well ramblin' is me pleasure, there's nothing else can measure, the travellin' man is fancy free for I've no boss to bother me, so love fare thee well....
My Mum used to sing this for me.. And my name is "Jenny"... thus my LOVE of this song.. and I am Irish... LOVEIT THANK YOU!!!!

Must be an idiot without ant class
An idiotic teetotaller.
It defies explanation
My father used to sing this and took us to see the Irish Rovers a couple times when we were little. Good memories of good times :)
The original Irish Rovers were the cream of spirited Celtic music! So much fun to hear them.

I love this song and how the two dudes are goofing off with the pint of beer.
Thank you, I grew up on listening to this music on sunday morning. Thanks for reminding me of my father and all the great times we had together.
This song makes me very happy and makes me want to move to Ireland.
I'm new to Irish Music and to Irish Rovers but i love their version of this song.
