Jared King, i think you're referring to residual energy. Its energy left behind by people who have passed and you can sometimes hear or see them, sometimes on a certain date if something important happened on that date. Its like its on a loop and it keeps happening at the same time same date . But theyre unaware of you being there. Many times its just voices or noises. You may hear people laughing anf talkign and music playing. Like people at a perty. Its pretty cool.
Hey Tammy!! 👋😃 no I actually haven't but I'll look in to it for sure! Thank you so much for mentioning that sister. Also thank you for watchin. God bless and have a good'n
Big Fork, Arkansas has a swimming hole called the mill hole. It was an old granite mine. I have spent many summer afternoons there. There has been lots of injuries in that place. There has been a few odd drownings there as well.
Thanks! You help me fall asleep every night. I use to hike, and I live in the coastal area of NH, I wanted to do a short south bound through the white mountains (now a bucket list wish.) Just to say I've been on the AT. I have a knack for making very nice hiking sticks. If you've got a mailing address that I can send one. please get in touch and I'd be honoured to make you your own Yankee walking stick. I have 2 maple sticks about 10 ft long that have been just drying out in my living room for years and it's time to move them out. Please let me know if you'd like a custom made stick and I'll make it and send it to you. Just need to know how tall you are to create the proper height of the stick or staff...whichever you'd like.. it's not just a stick, each one is unique and I make them for Christmas presents for family. I also need to know your favourite color to further customize your stick. Thanks again Jared you make a difference in so many lives. Your Yankee brother in Christ, Pooly.
Hey my awesome brother! God bless you man and yeah absolutely! I'm about 5'11 and favorite color is blue or red. Send to Jared King TV PO BOX 245 Mcminnville, TN 37111. Hi Kimberly 👋😀 A lot of the stories I share is ones folks send in. Hahaha..... Loved the story about the old Man who said "get outta my house". 😅 Ya know, he wouldn't have had to tell me twice! Hahaha. I guess he not only didn't like being dead, but didn't like his ' next of kin' too much either. Hahahaha.... I can just see it now! Hahaha sorry, this one made me actually laugh out loud and I almost spewed my Dr Pepper across the desk. 😅
Howdy Tim! Thanks for watching and hope you're doing good brother. That's awesome, I'd love to hear some stories you have! My email is kingjared1981@gmail.com Have a good'n
These stories are great, and have the flavor of authenticity. Are you as young as the guy on the profile "thing-y"? Is that your voice? I feel like I'm listening to a long lost uncle I always wanted to meet. Keep up the fantastic work!
Is that the actual a real picture of the woman? They should have left that barn alone. The twisted sticks may be willow wicker items that sounds like some Keltic folklore I have heard of from the mountains area not to far of a drive from Dublin. You ever hear of the black Spector dogs?
Hey Hang!!! No the pictures are just ones I use as sort of a visual idea for folks. Yeah the sticks may possibly have been! A lot of early Appalachian settlers were Irish and brought a lot of beliefs and traditions over with them. Yeah I've heard a few things about black Spector dog's. I've heard about them in several cultures but it's wild how they all have them an basically do the same thing! Thanks so much for watching and stay awesome 🤙😎
@@JaredKingTV Interesting I’m doing some research on the black dogs across different cultures.I have heard stories from the Ozarks mountain folks about them allot of myth in the UK about them. Also feral people being sighted in National Parks I do a lot of mountain walking so I interested in that .You may enjoy the original Wicker Man movie from the 1970s with Christopher Lee also it has some adult content in case kids are about. Stay free.
I was born and raised in Southern California in the 1960’s so I have never heard about these stories or have seen pictures like these. I love them ,thank you!🇺🇸 I am a new subscriber…❤
Welcome to the channel! I welcome everyone in as family so it's a blessin to have ya and so so glad you enjoyed it! God bless and have a good'n from Tennessee in Appalachia!
Rare but I have had similar experiences just like the car story. Also a person with steel heel taps. Over a period of years I have been sitting on my front porch and heard a vehicle pass under the old streetlight, but never seen it pass. One time there was this 18 year old boy who use to have steel taps on his boots use to walk home around 10 oclock about every night. Later he was killed in an auto accident and one night I was out here as I am now and I heard them heels a tapping all way up the road and I looked and no one passed under the road streetlight and the sound went on up the road Ron Delby
My grandfather used Oxen. During the War they were allowed to cut on State and Federal land and pretty much all they wanted. They cut maple and beech up in the tops. There were some big trees back in those days and it was quite a haul even downhill. He married Grandma when she as sixteen. She lost her first two babies then she had four with no trouble. When my father was twelve, he was coming home with his father and saw his mother laying halfway out of the front door. She had died of food poisoning and she only made it that far. Grandpa heart stopped when he was Sixty. When i was sixty I had to have a pacemaker put in my chest.
While I have relatives from the Deep South on both sides of my family... I myself did not grow up in the Deep-South or in Appalachia. My first (and probably only) introduction to the people and 'older' ways of Appalachia are from Hollywood movies... most notably... --"Next of Kin" (1988) starting the late actors Patrick Swayze, Bill Paxton and Liam Neeson who star as brothers who were raised and grew up in the hills of Appalachia...
--and the horror movie... "Pumpkinhead"
with each movie coming out within about a year of each other. While "Next of Kin" is more of crime/ action movie... it does have one scene in particular that was rather spooky: At the very beginning of the movie.... Det. Truman Gates (Patrick Swayze) responds to an apparent "bar-fight turned murder"...
Gates arrives the apartment of the main suspect, Billy Simpson, where Truman & Billy have a chat... and soon learn they are from neighboring counties in Kentucky (Harlan & Perry Cos.)... and Truman claims that he and his brothers used to hunt in Willy's home-county of Harlan up on "Daggot's Ridge". Billy explains that he knows exactly where Truman is talking about: "Hey, there are ghosts up on that ridge.
Yeah... one time my dogs took me straight down this hollow (holler??). There weren't no wind or nothing. It just got real cold.
Then all at once... them dogs started to howl. Like... like they was talking to the dead. Yeah, man. There are ghosts up on that ridge". Sure... it was just a movie... but that being said... something was really eating at Billy Simpson especially to make him think of that past memory that still haunted him. The next movie "Pumpkinhead" was supernatural horror film, starring actor, Lance Henriksen, who plays "Ed Harley"... a scorned father who's on the warpath and seeking vengeance for the untimely death of his young son at the hands of reckless teenagers. Harley seeks out an (Appalachian??) witch of Black Ridge named 'Haggis' who sends Ed Harley out to "Razorback Holler"... a cemetery that apparently served as an informal resting place (or dumping-ground) for those poor souls who were less-than-loved or who were downright rejected and despised. Or.... as Haggis put it to Ed Harley: "Ever hear of 'Razorback Holler'??... There's an old graveyard way back... deep in them woods. Mountain-folk use to bury kin in there... kin they was ashamed of!!". As if that old crone Haggis couldn't be any scarier... she wasn't one to mince words and made no bones about it. That old woman looked like she was nothing but a bag of bones who couldn't lift herself out of her rocking chair even if her last breath depended on it... but she easily made the Wicked Witch of the West (from the Wizard of Oz) look sweeter than sugar... and scared the living piss out of me. Holy Sh**!!😳 From what I can recall... it is never clearly stated what county, town or state where the events of "Pumkinhead" take place... That being said... the only place(s) that I have ever heard words like "holler, kin, kin-folk" ect. has only been in the Deep South of the US and especially in Appalachia.

YES! That's it! Thank you so much lol I could NOT remember what that was called lol. Thank you so much for watching. God bless and have a good'n

Big Fork, Arkansas has a swimming hole called the mill hole. It was an old granite mine. I have spent many summer afternoons there. There has been lots of injuries in that place. There has been a few odd drownings there as well.
Looord that would make a wild story wouldn't it! Thank you so much for watching. God bless and have a good'n
To quote Ray Stevens, ain’t no haint going to run me off!!!
I HEARD THAT 🤣👌
Hahaha.
Stay free.
When I was a child I experienced the ghost car on many occasions.
Looord, Wild ain't it!? Hope I never see it again lol or anything else for that matter lol I'm a brave feller but my feet don't know it 😂
Dang gooduns !
Thank you so much for watchin kinfolk! God bless and have a good'n 🙏
Man I'd love to have that 63 Impala in the picture with the boys standing around
You're thinking the same thing I am, brother😂
Paw was into some stuff with the underworld..
Dang brother that's wild!!! So sorry just replying but the comment just came in. Thank you so much for watching! God bless
While I have relatives
from the Deep South
on both sides of my family...
I myself did not grow up in
the Deep-South or in Appalachia.
My first (and probably only)
introduction to the people
and 'older' ways of Appalachia
are from Hollywood movies...
most notably...
--"Next of Kin" (1988)
starting the late actors
Patrick Swayze, Bill Paxton
and Liam Neeson who star
as brothers who were raised and
grew up in the hills of Appalachia...
--and the horror movie...
"Pumpkinhead"
with each movie coming out
within about a year
of each other.
While "Next of Kin"
is more of crime/ action movie...
it does have one scene
in particular that was
rather spooky:
At the very beginning of the movie....
Det. Truman Gates (Patrick Swayze)
responds to an apparent
"bar-fight turned murder"...
Gates arrives the apartment of
the main suspect, Billy Simpson,
where Truman & Billy have a chat...
and soon learn they are from neighboring
counties in Kentucky (Harlan & Perry Cos.)...
and Truman claims
that he and his brothers
used to hunt in Willy's
home-county of Harlan
up on "Daggot's Ridge".
Billy explains
that he knows
exactly where Truman
is talking about:
"Hey, there are ghosts up on that ridge.
Yeah...
one time my dogs took me
straight down this hollow (holler??).
There weren't no wind or nothing.
It just got real cold.
Then all at once...
them dogs started to howl.
Like... like they was talking to the dead.
Yeah, man. There are ghosts up on that ridge".
Sure...
it was just a movie...
but that being said...
something was really
eating at Billy Simpson
especially to make him
think of that past memory
that still haunted him.
The next movie "Pumpkinhead"
was supernatural horror film,
starring actor, Lance Henriksen,
who plays "Ed Harley"...
a scorned father who's on the warpath
and seeking vengeance for the untimely death
of his young son at the hands
of reckless teenagers.
Harley seeks out an
(Appalachian??) witch
of Black Ridge named 'Haggis'
who sends Ed Harley
out to "Razorback Holler"...
a cemetery that
apparently served as
an informal resting place
(or dumping-ground)
for those poor souls
who were less-than-loved
or who were downright
rejected and despised.
Or....
as Haggis
put it to
Ed Harley:
"Ever hear of 'Razorback Holler'??...
There's an old graveyard
way back... deep in them woods.
Mountain-folk use to bury kin in there...
kin they was ashamed of!!".
As if that old crone Haggis
couldn't be any scarier...
she wasn't one to mince words
and made no bones about it.
That old woman
looked like she was
nothing but a bag of bones
who couldn't lift herself
out of her rocking chair
even if her last breath
depended on it...
but she easily made the
Wicked Witch of the West
(from the Wizard of Oz)
look sweeter than sugar...
and scared the
living piss out of me.
Holy Sh**!!😳
From what I can recall...
it is never clearly stated
what county, town or state
where the events of
"Pumkinhead"
take place...
That being said...
the only place(s) that
I have ever heard words like
"holler, kin, kin-folk" ect.
has only been in the
Deep South of the US
and especially in Appalachia.
