Richie Blackmore put together some of the most amazing guitar solo's that have ever been played. he had a way of morphing bends with arpeggios like no other in his day. many talk about Page, Clapton, Beck and Hendrix, but seem to forget about Richie Blackmore, and there's a lot to learn from him. He doesn't sound like any of the ones mentioned above. he Just sounds like himself. and that's why I love him. he is the root to many Metal guitar players, and one of the reasons I play guitar today.
Outstanding! I've been a Blackmore fan since I was a kid. Nowadays, I play more Bluesy--the point is--take a few licks--learn something new, and go your own way. Thanks . . . Ritchie--you are a monster!
Thanks to this clip I can play the solo as well. But to be honest, the solo shown here has some minor changes, it's almost correct. But still an awesome job!
