The "I have sinned club" part was very good. You're amazing at this.

Thank You Lord God Almighty for Your message. ESP on false repentance. Mostly at times its repentance from the consequences of my sin and not from MY SIN. THANK YOU HOLY SPIRIT.

Pastor Lance replies - David prefers to simply be regarded as a man used by God to share His Word and ways. We're not big on titles at Enduring Word. We only use the description of "pastor" so that people understand our primary calling.

Definitely chapters on compromise living one foot in and out with God😐God wants FULL commitment from us.

In Exodus chapter 8, magicians are involved going against Moses. Although their magic acts have worked up to this point, they cannot produce gnats by their magic arts -- which would be a terrible magic show for the people of Egypt anyway -- [who would dare pay for such a magic act?!] As the Bible says, "But when the magicians tried to produce gnats by their secret arts, they could not. Since the gnats were on people and animals everywhere, the magicians said to Pharaoh, "This is the finger of God." But Pharaoh's heart was hard and he would not listen, just as the LORD had said." -- (Exodus 8:18-19). God does not want us to be deceived by magic, most especially "black" magic and sorcery. As the Bible says, "A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas. In this way the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power." -- (Acts 19:19-20). Also, as the Bible says, evil spirits can be involved with secret magic arts and sorcery as was the situation in Ephesus (Acts 19:13-18). The Bible concludes that those who refuse to repent of these types of magic arts and sorcery will be outside the kingdom of God. -- (Revelation 22:15).

It's sad that you don't get a lot of views cause you do this so well. I'd rather listen to you than Voddie.

I can't believe I missed Exodus 10:2. People often ask why God was ao cruel that He delivered all these plagues but the reason was right there. It was because he wanted the Egyptians to choose to follow Him.

The worst thing about Pharaoh in chapter 8 is that he actually agrees to let them go but then he goes back on his word. He's even more hateable than I remember. More hateable than he was in the movie The Prince of Egypt.

Thanks for the Egyptian god context. So basically God is teaching them that praying to false gods won't save them.

I know this sounds silly but until recently I did not consider my phone-shopping-tv, ect. Idols! You might need to elaborate on WHAT people consider idols in this day and age-that was a stumbling block for me, anything that does not honor or takes our time away from Him is an idol!

Very good question that modern day Christianity tends to avoid or say that we can worship on any day and not follow specific instructions from YAHWEH

Got a question. You said God gave Pharaoh an opportunity to repent but Bible also says God made his heart hardened. Wouldn't that be paradox?
