Hey bud, have viewed a few videos of yours in 2024 & certainly viewed you on a few live Hot Toys streams in 2024. But didn't put 2+2 together re: your videos that I value & really have liked w/ your CH name until "Rudy's 1/6th World" was mentioned a few times Saturday night on Fabs & Brandon's weekly stream which I truly like. All that said, I have subscribed to your channel of course & "figured" I'd provide my two cents as to why you're a FAV of mine in our early hobby entrance. FYI & in no particular order: A) No hyperbole. B) No "super early EXCLUSIVES" vids & hurry up and buy vids. C) Very practical reviews w/ commonsense perspectives. D) No every HT figure is "FANTASTIC!" nor, "this HT figure is shit" either. E) Critiquing when appropriate, praising when needed while providing some good character backdrop PLUS (importantly) actual figure release history whether a 1.0 or slight story update, repaint, 2.0, etc. F) Am new to Hot Toys since Dec 2023 and have been binging in 2024 on YT HT vids from many YT hosts going back 4-6+ yrs back, becoming more informed with the 20-40+ regular or somewhat regular Hot Toys figure TH-cam hosts. Obviously I like your normal "every guy" delivery, to me like Fabs & Brandon's efforts. G) Have a few Mandorlarin & child HT figs but thats it for SW world. Am a big Marvel guy and a DC Batman & Superman guy. Slowly buying some quality, available figs., about 1-2 per month but certainly no pre-ordering for 12-24 mos in the future. Buying from Sideshow to date & 2-3 figs on Ebay; all quality discounts. PS I often & particularly need a Hot Toys figure's literal QC to have few issues and decent articulation & quality engineering. Prefer a figure with good # of accessories & a nice base if possible. I don't focus much on storylines, 100% character completion, etc. I like ¹/⁴ scale very much too. Bought the latest & great Batman QS Christian Bale w/ the great deluxe pkg & base & Ironman Mk (?)42 w/ deluxe base in quarter scale. Love both QS figs. Very impressive engineering. Am sharing info simply in hopes of providing useful feedback for all your efforts. Will start to binge on your previous vids this/next month. All the best. Thanks!
Hey! I saw you in the chat on the stream. I was hoping to join Fabs, Brandon and Mike but life got in the way lol. First of all thank you so much for watching and for the support. This is a great hobby tbh, although sometimes not every release is great unfortunately. Also, thanks for the points you brought up. For me, I don't rush to go out and get figures, just don't have the budget for it. If I get a figure early it's usually just good luck, but I also don't like to push any retailers. Just like to give my insight into figures i'm getting and hopefully it helps people decide if something might be worth getting or passing on. And most importantly just give my honest opinions, so I do hope that comes across. So again welcome to the hobby :-) And i think you're doing great to start off on! Figures with great accessories and bases are homeruns in my opinion. Really do love that Hot Toys and other companies are starting to focus on that as well! Looking forward to hearing more from you.
