- Tel Aviv Light Rail ( Red Line) runs through Tel Aviv metropolitan area and it is the first section of a light rail system in the area.
Locale : Tel Aviv, Petah Tikva, Bnei Brak, Ramatgan, Bat Yam.
It has 34 stations
In this video, we begin our trip at Petah Tikva being among the first passengers through to Bat Yam.

Thanks for posting! I was impressed with the subway part of the ride from Bnei Brak going through Ramat Gan & Tel Aviv. I didn't think they'd have this part of the light rail finished so soon after construction started because it's much more difficult to build underground.

Nice ride. It reminds me of the metro from Claremont California to Los Angeles California. We went through a tunnel and when we come out we were in the middle of the LA Freeway. When you get off of the metro you can go down stairs and get on a subway. It's nice thank you for sharing your trip.

It is pretty fast in the underground section, but ridiculously slow on the surface. It should run underground unless it can run fully segregated on the surface. Obviously it even does not have precedence over other traffic. That would help a lot.
Yes, but remember on the surface ,they are other vehicles using it and traffic lights too.

I really liked the video. It seems that right now there is still a little "BALAGAN" and it will take some time for everything to start running smoothly. The underground stations are huge. By the way, how long did the trip take you in total (without editing)?
It's about 1 hour and 20 minutes due to the many stations (34 stations)
