    I'm surprised videos like this aren't more popular. One of the major reasons people spend thousands of dollars to travel is just to wander around looking at stuff. Watching this is like a mini holiday. Guess people don't have the attention span anymore

    I love how no matter how busy an area is where you visit, you can still find a beautiful quiet corner to explore!

    Thank you so much for taking your time to show us how beautiful and fantastic Japan is. You do such a wonderful job. I have no idea why anyone would give your videos a thumbs down. Ignore them. You bring pleasure to so many people!

    • @RicardoNunoSilva
      @RicardoNunoSilva 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Mary Holeman, I'm convinced that many times people choose the *"thumbs down" icon* unintentionally, *by mistake* , and they don't even notice it (!).
      I find myself with this same problem when I'm trying to click the "thumbs up" on my smartphone or tablet in a moving/shaking mobile situation, like in public transport or even car trip.
      I really suspect that the majority of "thumbs down" clicks in these kind of videos are just misplaced "thumbs up" clicks.

    Ahh, your Japanese sounds native to me. What an absolutely beautiful area. Clever drone landing and takeoff. The abundant natural spring water flowing in the sea-level area was fascinating. The Deer there appear to have a nice life of leisure. Wonderful immersion, especially the sound of the waves lapping against the shore. I'm glad I have Premium membership for no interruptions. Gorgeous walk, thank you for taking me along. 👍

    Remembering the oysters there, and the deer. Pictures of me and friends at the Gate, and of No playhouse, and bridges and more. Beautiful mists and fogs while I was there, and now more magic revealed here, anime colors, good feeling. Will rest now and view more of this later. Thank you.

    @Rambalac, I'm really glad I found your channel and videowalks a few months ago.
    I love the places you visit, I love the time you take to wander around, calmly exploring the surroundings, the preplanning you do, the quality of your editing and, last but definitely not the least, the time you take to engage with your audience/followers on our TH-cam and Discord channels.
    You, Sir, are a remarkable person, and you can be proud of being one of the best (of the few) producer/curator of videowalks in the world.
    Wishing you all the best from Portugal.

    I wouldn't worry about the oversaturation, just think of it as 1950's Technicolor..... :' ) Funny enough, it did make the drone footage afterward appear washed out at the end, even though after rewatching the beginning(which was fine) it looked the same.
    I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I liked your interaction with the shopkeeper more than you feeding the deer! :' )

    I went to Miyajima last September and stayed one night in a cozy guest house there. Even though it rained all the time, it was amazing and the highlight of my trip in Japan. The Daishoin temple was also great, my only regret is that I couldn't get to the top of Mt. Misen due to the bad weather, but I'm glad I could watch your amazing video with sunny weather and aerial drone views. Keep up the good work!

      There are signs on the island that tell tourists not to feed the deer by order of the City of Hatsukaichi.
      If the deer are fed by tourists, they will learn to be dependant on human food and will be aggressive to tourists like the deer in Nara.

    the Japanese as an ethnic group are perhaps the people who have most contributed to making their environment a reflection of their philosophy and spirituality
    if peace and security exist in this country it is probably not because of the police or an organization of this kind ...
    the aesthetic aspect far surpasses any reflection and / or criticism ... we just watch and admire ... without ever touching or dreaming of going there ...
    Mr Rampalac congratulations for your concept and all your efforts ...

    • @Jehutyde
      @Jehutyde 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You should read up on Nihonjinron before spouting such pompous nonsense about the mythical land of Japan and it's people again. In this day and age where Jvloggers are dime dozen it's an important topic to educate yourself on.
      Also you know you can just fly to Japan right? lol

    • @djallalnamri1
      @djallalnamri1 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Jehutyde allow me to make my own opinion about japan as well as the Japanese who are basically part of the human species just like me
      men when they do not believe in GOD ALMIGHTY always make the same mistakes because originally ignorant or narcissistic by perversion which by the way can explain comments like yours
      for the whole planet Japan ... it's the martial arts, a fan, an umbrella, the Fujiyama ... the pagodas ... a kimono ... a geisha ... a samurai ... etc, etc. , (the list is long)
      it is also an archipelago opened by force to the Western powers (Commodore Perry) ... it is a culture that made the mistake of believing that it could discern right from wrong in Western civilization and which finally had this surge of survival that allowed it not to be perverted to the point of not recognizing itself.
      today people do not visit Japan for its westernization but to admire what has escaped this same Westernization in this archipelago but apparently there are damages that seem irreversible unless ... and rave reviews do not stop on TH-cam
      it is also the only country in history that has received two atomic bombs dropped on two inhabited cities ... so the Nihonjinron or whatever ... seems to me understandable as a reaction ... etc,etc, ...
      and we see this state of mind in almost all island peoples
      there is dirt that people keep inside themselves and that they forget to wash ... it is almost the case of the whole human species with few exceptions ...
      to avoid being raped by american soldiers, Japanese women were throwing themselves off cliffs ... the same happened here during the invasion of the French colonial army
      there must be reports of Chinese women being raped by Japanese soldiers ... etc,etc, ...

    Your production quality is already among the best I've seen. Just wondering if you may be considering upgrading to the Lumix-S1 to stay a generation above most as you have been? Looks like the total cost will be very high including the cost of all new lenses which I guess will be individually very high as well. I'll be retiring to SE-Asia next year and would like to do a private video travel documentary for friends and family. Although I couldn't afford a Lumix-S1 system, your professional thoughts and input would be valuable to me in looking forward. Thank you.
