- In this video, I will be showing you how to make this Super Delicious Thalicha Masala Dosa. This is one of my favourite dosa recipes, I can eat this everyday! It is so delicious and tasty you can keep eating it, try making this for your family and friends its too good not to make. Please enjoy watching and making The Best Thalicha Masala Dosa :)
Thalicha Masala Dosa ingredients:
½ a desiccated coconut
Garlic cloves - 6
Shallots - 1 handful
Cumin seeds & peppercorns (soaked in water)
Some cooked rice
Water - 2 cup
White Urad dal and 1½ tablespoons fenugreek seeds (soaked in water)
Roasted all purpose flour - 3 large cups
Roasted rice flour - 1 cup
Turmeric powder - ½ tablespoon
Salt - 1½ tablespoons
Bicarbonate soda - ½ teaspoon
Oil - 4 tablespoons
Mustard seeds - 2 teaspoons
Cumin seeds - 2 teaspoons
Fennel seeds - 2 teaspoons
Some curry leaves
Onion - 1
Some salt

Sodium bi carbonate releases CO2 gas well upon cooking due to heat which makes batter / food soft .
Natural fermentation also releases gas when mixture left overnight or for few hours.
Adding Yeast promotes natural fermentation fast!
