Hi Dela, that design looks absolutely magnificent!! WOW, WOW, WOW!!! The rooftop garden concept is excellent. Well done. I must be honest with you, watching this video has given me a number of ideas that I'm going to run past my architect immediately. He completed my design ages ago, but fortunately we've not commenced construction yet so hopefully I have lots of time to alter his design.
The contrast of white render and teak coloured wood cladding works particularly well. The partial structure with a roof mounted pergola structure on the top floor looks stunning too. Similarly the garden ‘summerhouse’ located under the front wall looks great. I think though that the size and location of your septic tank will pose a considerable problem to that garden pool. The sewage pipes from house to it would need relocating at least and it would end up very narrow. Also the access points to it must remain accessible. I think you might come to regret it’s central location. I think the hard landscaping of the ground suited the modern style of the building particularly well and your mention of (I assume) specimen plants to add some green (weeping figs - ficus Benjamina, grow really well in Ghana) will look stunning. Specimen pot plants (large - 6 ft) on the roof will compliment the rooftop pergola to complete the exotic look. When are you inviting us all round to the opening? 😉
