For the first pistol round where you claim Skye is an L duo, I could argue that it goes both ways. You could have asked Skye to flash for you or let him know that you are planning to peak out of the smoke and go for fights. It’s one of those moments where you weren’t on the same page. As Skye states he was healing you as you were low HP. But if you both were in sync then instead he could flash for you and go for kills. I understand the feeling / situation and I wouldn’t necessarily say it was completely Skye’s fault there.
PS I’m nowhere near Radiant and I know you’re clearly a better player than I am, but I think you’d agree with this logic also. If I’m completely wrong here with this comment, then you can blast me 😂. That’s why I say in game “I didn’t know you were there”. I had no idea he had already rotated or else I would’ve called for it It is a lil bit on me for not realizing, I was way too locked in to the smoke incase they pushed me 😭
6:22 this is actually a moment i have a question more out of curiosity for. so what i'd typically do in this scenario is assume that the guy is dogging for a teammate to peek with it so instead of going for the info denial i will try to hold until i cant anymore in hopes of getting a kill on the swinging teammate. you said that you want to deny any value from the skye dog but i feel like in the context of actually gaining something from the exchange youre denying yourself a potential kill. also i thought that giving the knowledge that there is an op is valuable info that you'd try to not give away. which option do you think makes more sense in that particular context?
yes usually there's a teammate going to swing too but allowing the dog to walk up all the way isn't worth it, e.g. sure you can kill one person but you'd presumably walk back after, so the dog is free to check places like right side to make sure there isn't a second person there. Also regarding the op you could argue by giving away that info the enemies will assume you'll just sit on that angle and won't try to challenge long (or at least without using a lot of util to give an easier fight)
It depends! If I was on jett or chamber with a faster get away I’d probably do what you would’ve done. But since I don’t have a get away from jail free card, too many times I’ve held for too long and I’m about to shoot the dog and RIGHT as I shoot I get swung and punished yk? It’s more of playing safe, esp because I heard them coming heavy from hookah. They both are good plays it’s just situational yk? I wanted to take the shot in this instance to break the dog to back up and setup my skye in the bait in switch play. Notice how he was close? I fall back to hold, take one and he gets the rest.
