It's just annoying. If a podcast used a laugh track there is no way I am gonna listen to it for more then 2 minutes, let alone hours. The only reason laugh tracks were ever even used were to mimic a live studio audience. The live studio audience were told what to do by directors so the people watching at home knew when to laugh which allowed writers to write lower quality jokes that could be told to a wider audience. This shit doesn't work on twitch. If it's a couple streams whatever but if it sticks it will be interesting to see the response.
