Actually the jokes about dermatologists are pretty spot on, I'm a Ph.D. Aerospace Engineer but one of my best buds in undergrad college went to med school and he's now a heart surgeon and I heard him joke about dermatologists once when he said...Dermatology, if it's dry make it wet, if it's wet make it dry.
I'm a Ph.D. Genetic Engineer, and my bud is a Ph.D. Computer Scientist, we always crack jokes behind his wife's back. She's a dermatologist! Hahaha!!!🤣

Because society hasn't changed much since the 90's, only technology has advanced a lot. It could be argued that Western society became our current version of modern in the 80's and certainly since the 90's hasn't changed much.

My brother had a rash on his neck one time and I asked him if he has been wearing a fake beard. He has never seen an episode of Seinfeld, which made it even more funny. Nor has he heard the Jerky Boys, so im constantly using their lines on him.

Actually dermatologists don't treat cancer, if they see something suspicious they send you to an oncologists
Wrong, we do diagnose and treat skin cancer. Oncologists treat metastatic skin cancer.
Wrong. You are sounding somewhat like George and Kramer in this episode.
Dermatology covers a wide range of treatments and skin conditions, however one of the important life saving types of dermatology is excision and treatment of skin cancer. Some dermatologists also treat skin cancer and pre-cancerous growths using photo-dynamic treatment (PDT).
Not all dermatologists specialize in acne, and tattoo removal.
So yes they are factually correct. And Marcia Cross is a legend!
