My dad was the one in the #711 1973 Camaro. He talks often about what a great time he had racing Knox. Very lucky that same event continues to run today.

Wow ! I just met him today while fishing at Vasseux Lake near Oliver ! So cool. We talked a lot about his fishing history, but he shared about his automotive career and the ‘77 climb in #711. Really cool dude ! 😎🤙
If it is late 70s, my brother & I were there. Didn't see the grey 914 I got a ride in back to the bottom of the hill. No seat, no seat belts just hold on. The good old days
I was there one year in the early 70's. On a cruise around BC and this was the third day with no sleep.
