Sinca Veche Cave Monastery

🔴 The cave monastery from Șinca Veche or the place where the wishes are fulfilled. Or the "Temple of Fate". Historians say that the cave monastery was excavated in the 1700s, when the persecution of Orthodox Christians in Transylvania began.Șinca Veche was a border town, and people were obliged to pass to the Romanian United Church with Rome, by the order of Empress Maria Theresia. With an extraordinary effort, the people who refused to change their religion dug the cave as a church. It has an altar, a turret inside, where the sun rays shyly enter, and two small rooms with tiny windows.
