With the help of these stories, I get to know if I'm on the right path in life. Many a times I used to be right but proven wrong by people. It helps me keep negative feelings in check. In other words, I'm investing in myself wisely. Thank you 💫
These quotes are false. The Dhamma as taught by Buddha is called akalika- timeless and never changing. So by living the Law, one becomes the law and timeless.
🕊Thank you my dear friend 🕊 🕊Well said…. If your faith doesn’t makes yo humble, then you are not having any faith …. You just using your faith to Satisfying your ego🕊
Nice story. Our culture and civilization, learn us to believe and to know about THE OTHERS!! From the school until your last breath you learning, what the others did, and how you can imitate better.. You can know everything about the Life of any celebrity, or musician or politician, but you forgot totally to ask.. Do I know myself? Blessings and love!!
All of your stories are mind nurturing, they help bring peace in mind. Esp. I liked the story of Asanga, The Fear, and many more. Thank you man, whoever you are, wherever you are. Great Job. You are a true Buddha follower.
Gautema was great at 'practicing what you preach' & was true to preaching what he practiced, no dissimilar to Rama, Krishna, Jesus & others before & hopefully after him as "truth & love" transcends all.
I enjoy and learn from all of your teachings because even though I have three degrees, I find it very hard to get back into law school to earn this last one that will help my clients the most. Your teachings, in addition to my chanting, nam myoho renge kyo regularly, both give me the strength to go on. I included both you and SGI Buddhism because as one of your other teachings showed me (the priest who refused to be rescued from the flood three times), the universe provides encouragement in many different forms. Thank you so much.
This kind of video are beautiful Only one photo And story in moving form We can read and listen at the same time with absolute focus Narration is effortless Top notch Thank You for everything 🥀
Everyone should have faith in thereselves and a strong belief that they can achieve everything in life if they want to they just have to stop giving excuses
Everyone needs a tangible “Guru” in the present moment in their lives. Scripture helps everyone but interpretation and digestion of scripture does not come to all but those that have a spirit of righteousness in faith. Only with humility can one be blessed with knowledge and wisdom. No one can steal it and then be righteous. It’s not possible. Those that do steal it, are revealed by light.
Indeed, may your faith be well grounded. This story is adapted from SN 47.12 Nālandasutta, partly the same as the text but with a different ending. The later part of the original dialogue is: (the Venerable Sāriputta said) “Suppose, venerable sir, a king had a frontier city with strong ramparts, walls, and arches, and with a single gate. The gatekeeper posted there would be wise, competent, and intelligent; one who keeps out strangers and admits acquaintances. While he is walking along the path that encircles the city he would not see a cleft or an opening in the walls even big enough for a cat to slip through. He might think: 'Whatever large creatures enter or leave this city, all enter and leave through this one gate.' "So too, venerable sir, I have understood this by inference from the Dhamma: Whatever Arahants, Perfectly Enlightened Ones arose in the past, all those Blessed Ones had first abandoned the five hindrances, corruptions of the mind and weakeners of wisdom; and then , with their minds well established in the four establishments of mindfulness, they had developed correctly the seven factors of enlightenment; and thereby they had awakened to the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. And, venerable sir, whatever Arahants, Perfectly Enlightened Ones will arise in the future , all those Blessed Ones will first abandon the five hindrances, corruptions of the mind and weakeners of wisdom; and then, with their minds well established in the four establishments of mindfulness, they will develop correctly the seven factors of enlightenment; and thereby they will awaken to the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. And, venerable sir, the Blessed One, who is at present the Arahant, the Perfectly Enlightened One, first abandoned the five hindrances, corruptions of the mind and weakeners of wisdom; and then, with his mind well established in the four establishments of mindfulness, he developed correctly the seven factors of enlightenment; and thereby he has awakened to the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment.” (The Venerable Sāriputta's faith is indeed well grounded. The Buddha replied) "Good, good, Sāriputta! Therefore, Sāriputta, you should repeat this Dhamma exposition frequently to the bhikkhus and the bhikkhunis, to the male lay followers and the female lay followers. Even though some foolish people may have perplexity or uncertainty regarding the Tathagata, when they hear this Dhamma exposition their perplexity or uncertainty regarding the Tathagata will be abandoned.” suttacentral.net/sn47.12/en/bodhi - translated by Bhikkhu Bodhi

I think man judged according to their perceptions and believes but him shosen by the Universe him who the Universe speaks to is only speaking by truth no by perception, the one no chosen by himself but by his heart and the wholeness of existence him speaks more grounded than mother earth it self floating to the gravity. Him did not came to judged but to help and indeed him leads not by words or stories him leads by example. He was not made the Buddha himself but all the Buddha's and enlighten being from past and future chose him. Like the Christ Jesus was not believe at the moment him will not be believe but karma the Tao and the wholeness of it will spoke to the unbelievers #27 #227 #timekeeper #elunico it's it ☯️
This story was told wrong. check Sampasādanīyasutta. Sariputra came to this conclusion with a more complete analysis based on 17 aspects. The Buddha praised his rational judgment, asked him to teach the Sangha in this way. “Ten Principal Disciples” , Sariputra is foremost in wisdom, not in faith.

Once you saw things for yourself, there is _no need_ for simple faith anymore, as in the case of Sariputta!
