This is my favorite review of any Nishane I’ve seen TH-cam. “Party trick approach” division is really a good observation. I have wanted to love several from this house, but mostly think “eh, pretty good” across the handful I’ve smelled, including this one.

I have Unutamam which I love. Starts out animalic, then settles into a chocolate mint scent - yes really. I like this house.

Your description reminds me of Amouage memoir man.
Added it to my “to try” list.
BTW I have tried fan your flames since your review, it really caught my attention, I just can’t see where it can be used.

I think the wearability is the issue with most “strange” Nishanes, they are pretty much one trick pony fragrances

Also, Memoir to me smells nothing like this, maybe just the anice type note.

Very true. I'm also interested in what the future holds for the brand. In fact, it'll be interesting to see where any brand goes once the flanker and trend trains have fizzled.
