Absolutely fabulous machine ! Would ever want to go back to a petrol powered pole pruner, the sheer Torque and power of the DUA301 is mind blowing compared to that of a traditional petrol machine, that coupled with the lack of exhaust emissions, fuel issues etc. As well as a massive reduction in noise and vibration make it a dream to use and a true petrol replacement ! And what with the rising cost of fuel these days it’s much nicer to be able to charge batteries on site at no cost 🤩 what’s not to love ! Can’t wait to see what the XGT 40v / 80v brings to the table chainsaws wise ! P:s If you find a EA7900p45e machine in a warehouse or at a dealer whom isn’t online hit me up please ? Didn’t get chance to purchase one before they where discontinued
Just ordered the 301 - found a decent deal on it. I was toying with the idea of grabbing the power head/split shaft unit … but the brushless, extension aspect and 13inch bar sold me. I also read a lot of mixed reviews on the earlier models (lack of power, lack of retention bolts, lack of hook)… which seem to be addressed in the 301 unit.
