    Thanks for another very informative video. I have learned a lot from your videos. I wonder whether you can develop a tutorial for creating a line or column chart showing the number of active employees / open cases (as well as other outcome measures like average wages, sales etc based on individual employee hire / terminate dates records data and their wages data across time) across year/month as well as break down the numbers by age group or tenure group (using age/tenure group as a legend). As age or tenure is dynamic and changes with the year/month, I cannot figure out how the age/tenure groups can be used as a legend. It seems the age/tenure group measures created cannot be used as legend to break down the values in the chart. I have not found a solution on this yet.

    Hi, I would like to use pibp files in devops and deploy them. I want to use yaml and the XMLA-endpoint, not the power bi pipelines. Do you have any tips?

    Thank you for the video. I have a slightly off-topic question: it appears that your hairline has receded, and you've undergone treatment with positive results. Could you please share your experience and the treatment process you went through?

    After commiting the changes to github remote, how do u commit those changes to the powerbi service?

    • @abedjaji1989
      @abedjaji1989 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I don't think you can, you have to change your .pbip file back to .pbix and publish it from powerbi desktop to service.

      @@abedjaji1989 so whats the point of making changes and push it to git, and then u have to manually revert back to .pbix in order to have it live?

    How does this help to work with multiple developers on same reports ?

    • @abedjaji1989

      Each developer can create a branch off of main and once done with changes they merge with main after approvers review etc

    I wonder why anyone would decide to have version control with PBI. Any edge/use cases that anybody can think of? I get it for code development, but not for PBI.

    Well as of today you can publish the pbip files

      I saw on my pbip files the publish function enabled but not sure whether I went to the right place. Thanks for confirmation!

    Well since .pibx files are nothing more than zip files with a different extension this was not that big of a change.

      I'm not sure but there could be some dependencies and coded file in datamodel, You can try to unzip the file, change something and zip it back, there's a high chance it won't work
